Great Product. It comes with exactly what you see in the picture. The CD is a micro CD, so it will only work on computers that have CD trays that support them. That being said, you can always use a computer that supports micro CDs to copy over what you need on to a USB and use that to install the driver on your target machine (the file structure on the CD is organized by operating system to make it easy for you). I had to do exactly that for my linux box, and the install script on the CD worked flawlessly. As for the quality of the product, it is faster than my laptop, which is fairly fast as it is.As a side note, they provide quite a few README style PDFs and text files to help you with whatever you need, and they include the driver source code along with a build guide if you want to port it to another platform. All around great buy and well worth it!

this unit keeps dropping wifi connection on my desktop. even though when it connects its quite fast..but any uploading or downloading freaking thing drops out the connection..have to restart my desktop. downloaded latest drivers from the details page on amazon yet no luck. sick and tired of unstable internet wifi dropouts.

This device does not like being turn off, because every time it does, it connection gets slow and then after a while everything is back to normal speeds. This is plugged to my desktop in the basement connecting to a modem 1 floor above clocking at 270 Mbps. To reestablish connection you just have to unplug from your computer for 10 seconds then plug it back in. In addition, this is my first time using a wireless device.CD is small and hidden in the package. I will recommend this to anyone who is tech savvy because there is no step by step instruction.In other words, they cared less about the details in between.

I guess I just wasn't one of the lucky ones. The install driver selection on disk startup screen and the setup file on the mini disc directly would each generate an error message when I tried to run them. After going to the website mentioned in other reviews I was able to get a driver to load but my computer running Windows 7 never recognized the device as a wireless adapter and it simply would not function. After a two hour battle I am giving up and returning it. Yes, I was trying to get by on the cheap. Yes, I got burned. Complete waste of time. By the way everything about the software is ultra low quality garbage and of course absolutely no tech support contact available, not even a manufacturers name on the package. Glam Hobby appears to be just a faceless distributor.

This is a beautiful little device. My tablet wifi became damaged and I could no longer connect to the internet. So I purchased 2 of these modern technology devices. Installed it and I now have access to wifi on my tablet via the USB again. Much cheaper than the repairs or reshipping back to the manufacturer.
