It works 100%
This cable connector works well. It provides a screwdriver to join 1 electric cable to another. It says the item can be joined under water but I avoided this just in case it did not. I'm very happy with it but managed to drop the screws several times because they are quite small and fiddley. I give it 5 stars because it does what it says and it solved my problem of having an electric cable that by itself was too short. Joining it to a second cable solved my problem.

Well made and simple to use
First brought one of these a little while ago to see how good they are, just reordered this pack of 3 to enable us to install outside lighting and move a pond pump and UV filter.They are well made and so simple and easy to fit together and install, the connector seems to be very efficient in stopping rain water getting in and seems well waterproofed. (Not suitable for being submerged in water), all screws and fittings were included. Not overpowering or large so they can be hidden from view under rocks, slabs or plants, helping keep the pond and lighting appearance right. When built up there is a little yellow silicone washer that you can see on the cable so helps remind you that the cable and connector is there.There are really good value for money, will buy again and keep one in stock just in case I need an outside cable repairing. (Electric hedge cutter was one :-/ for instance)

Exactly as described.Used to extend the electrical cable on a garden water feature. Simple to use. Good instructions. Fitted three months ago so can confirm it is water tight.Would recommend.

OK but....
Update- After submitting the following review the seller reached out to me to apologise and offered a refund or replacement, the replacement was delivered promptly and is a lot better than the original delivery........The product itself is ok, the cables when fitted seem to be secure and water tight, but I think the quality is poor, of the 3 in the box 2 had terminal screws missing, I only needed 2 connectors so I made 2 good out of the 3 supplied. I also found the the outer plastic parts are very easy to cross thread, obviously this could impact the IP68 rating, mine is under cover so will not be exposed to too much rain so fingers crossed it will be OK.
