It needs to be thoroughly shaken before each use to ensure smooth even coverage.They make a 2 separate products so you can customize your shade. A darker one to add to your shade in the summer when you are tanner and a lighter product to perfectly lighten your shade to match your winter complexion. I think they are called Plus One and Zero (or something like that). This takes away the guessing game or the necessity to have several bottles of varying shades to get the right shade as the seasons change.This make up is also very natural looking outside in sunlight. This is important to me because I want to look natural and like I am not wearing a lot of makeup. However, this makeup acts like professional expensive makeup and not like typical vegan-cruelty free make up. It delivers on what it promises to do.This product does not contain sunscreen because this is a professional product and sunscreen in the make up will make the wearer photograph with a whitened face.
