In a world where the pens are no longer a guaranteed resource, this little device is a total game changer for money handling. Just as fast as the pen, always accurate and crazy easy to use. While it cannot be used on 1980s bills and older, the majority of circulating currency now is newer, minimizing the amount of old currency used today, so there are few instances where this unit is not an aid.

nice little handheld device
It WORKS, love this device. We have a huge rummage sale every Memorial Weekend and this little device sure comes in handy checking the large dollar bills for the strip. Love that on the device it gives you the placement of where the strip should be and the color that should appear, it also shows each dollar currency. Would recommend this product to anyone looking for something small, simple to use and informational and accurate!!

Happy With the Purchase!
-Purchased this little gem along with books and other aids to help teach my 9-year-old grandchild about money. They loved comparing genuine currency to motion picture prop money. Each time they were given a real bill, they'd run and grab this device to check its authenticity! LOL Although there may be other, more effective ways to determine whether bills are real, this was the most fun!

You get what you pay for!
This is a very cheaply made piece of plastic with a light in it. I guess it does what it's supposed to do, but it really doesn't look like the picture. The printing on the top is not very clear, and it's much smaller than I expected. It was the least expensive of the similar items I saw, so (as I said), I guess you get what you pay for!

Very Handy
Bought two of these. They are great. Small so it doesn't take lots of room. Accurate. Definitely have come to rely on it greatly. Just hate that the price has more then doubled from my first purchase. Was only $8.95. now we'll over $19. I understand inflation. But come on.
