For many of us facing space at a premium this seems a perfect piece of furniture - for use as a desk.It is very sturdy and well made. Takes around 20 minutes to put up - instructions small but accurate. Nice old pine colour, attractive design and just very very good value.However, as a desk, very sadly, the legs are just too short. It needs a block to raise the legs around 4cm to 6cm or so (this will depend on your chair). Otherwise you legs will not fit under it. If only they had made it with longer legs!As a console table this is an easy 5 STARS. It is a genuinely lovely piece of furniture.BUT, as a desk, it falls short sadly without carpentry skills or playing around with blocks of wood to raise it which is not ideal (and adds to the cost). Such a shame, as this is the perfect size otherwise. I have kept it and use with blocks..... the nicest desk of this size I could find - and by a pretty mile.I feel mean giving it 4 STARS ---- but I hope it helps someone who is hoping like me they had found a perfect desk and my rating is on this basis. Recommended.

The table came well packaged and the instructions adequate. The pre drilled screw holes were mostly in the right place but a couple were too close to the edge and great care required to prevent the screws splitting the wood. Other than this it looks as good as you would hope for the price paid. Not top quality materials, but the finished article looks great. Take care with construction and you should be pleased with the result.

We are pleased with this item, it looks good, we have given it three coats of Jacobean Oak wax to match other furniture.Some of the dowel holes were drilled too deep and dowels would have gone totally into the hole but we padded with a little kitchen roll and the dowel holes in the top were far to wide but made no difference as the top is screwed on with 8 screws from the side panel.This is a budget price table which is well worth the money as you would be hard pushed to buy the wood to make a similar table for that price but anyone expecting a table with top quality wood would be wrong to think that is what you get for less than £30, and even though this table says waxed it is like a blank canvass waiting for you to wax, stained or leave as is to suit your taste or other furniture.Actual size of table we received (measure from the top) was 50.8x 50.8 x 52cm (not the 45 x 45 x 47 cm as stated on the product dimensions)Would recommend this product as it is has sturdy legs and a good table top, looks good and does the job. Money well spent.

Solid pine wood furniture, flat-packed but easy to assemble and sturdy once all put together. Two of the shelves are adjustable. I would suggest an improvement in the design would be to cut out a small 'notch' at the back of the fixed bottom shelf, to accommodate the joining strip for the back panel pieces. Without this, the whole back section is pushed out and makes hammering in the panel pins at the bottom difficult as the wood 'bounces'. This change would also help the bookcase sit flush with the wall. Nevertheless, I love the design of the bookcase, with the addition of a drawer, it's something a bit different! :)

This item was better than the first one I bought.(set of 4xdraws in same material and colour/finish which was poorly packed and damaged and did not construct correctly due to warped wood e.t.c.) Packaging was better and the delivery service at least did not bash it around to much or use it as a skate board in the back of van. Only one chip of wood missing on draw. Price a bit on the steep side for a piece of pine wood with a bit of staining done to it! Paid 50 plus pounds, 30 pounds more worth it. Apart from this, used as a laptop work station at home. LOOKS GOOD. I am planning to buy a lot more items from this company. MAKE SURE IT IS FROM HOME DISCOUNT as their are different providers out their.

Great item easy to put together, good readable instructions.

Beautiful table lovely size and a great finish.Assembly was easy for the most part, just one complicated bit putting the underside together but figured it out.I ordered two and one came with a nick out the side that’s the reason for the 4 stars

Bought this for my parents to use. Product is good value for money and my parents are pleased with what they have. Package arrived on time. Top part of the table section of wood was broken when my dad opened the packaging so please check. Apart from that all is fine.
