Tomnk 20 Cavity Rectangle (2"x1") and 16 Cavity Oval (2"x1") Silicone Mold for Soap Candy Chocolate Cake with Sealed Bags of Decorative Design

I don't really understand the many complaints about the small size. You can see the exact dimensions in the pictures. These molds were exactly what I wanted for my melt-and-pour soap projects. The oval ones look beautiful and are perfect size for small soap bars that fit nicely in your hand to wash your face/hands. 1 lb M&P soap base is enough to fill the whole tray.The square ones are thinner/smaller and are perfect as guest soap or as sample size.The molds are easy to use, easy to clean and the hardened soap pops out easily.Didn't need the little bags, but they are a nice add-on. Unfortunately they only comfortably fit the square sized soaps, not the oval ones.

I use these molds to use up any leftover soap batter. The rectangle bars are 1" x 2" x .5" and about .65oz each once cured. I pack 5 of them into a 2" x 3" box to sell as a sampler set. They are extremely popular! The oval bars are a little bigger - .75oz or .85oz? They don't fit well in my 2"x3" boxes so I'm using them as free samples instead. I only make oval ones if I've already filled up the rectangle mold and have even more batter. I've been using these molds for about 9 months now and they've held up really well. I'm back to buy a couple more sets so I can expand my sampler set production!

I bought these molds as they were the perfect size for soaps I was making for shower favors. These will be small, like hotel sized soaps, but as long as you're ok with that size, these molds are just what you need. Soap came out of molds easily, creating the perfect bar. I washed them in the top rack of the dishwasher, and they cleaned up very nicely.I have yet to figure out how to fold them back up for compact storage, but its ok, they just went into my soap making container, but the would be my only flaw of the design. Otherwise, these molds are awesome and for a great price!Oh! Can't forget that the company sent along absolutely adorable baggies for the soap, very cute for gift ideas!

I originally was going to give this a 2. But then I thought ok wait, yes it does what it is supposed to. Yes the soap I made in them came out easy. Yes the crayon projects I made in them came out easy. So yes they are a good product. BUT FOR ME- these were so much smaller than I thought (I should have read dimensions so that was my error). It’s really like maybe 2 inches? Each mold. And I found that to be far too small for soap. Unless you are making hotel soap (that’s the size you’re looking at. Hotel soap).

I love these molds. They are very durable and make a large quantity. They are very small, but that is my fault for not reading the description. I still recommend them. Perfect for wrapping in colorful papers and throwing into gift bags as an extra.

As you can see from my photo, the rectangle dimensions are actually larger than the description states. They are actually 2 1/4" by 1 1/4. Since I originally bought this mold to replace an old 2" by "1 mold that had finally kicked the bucket, I wasn't really thrilled. That being said...For the most part, I like this mold set. I personally don't use the oval ones because I don't need them but the rectangular mold gets plenty of heavy use because I do a lot of resin work. The surfaces of the mold are nice and smooth which gives my pieces of glossy finish without me needing to glaze or dome them.But if you're looking for a mold that specifically 1 inch wide by 2 inch long you'll need to look elsewhere.

I am so looking forward to making organic soaps for the first time! I did not want to start out with a huge batch, rather, work with just a sample size to master with before upgrading to those bigger square molds. I am also already looking ahead into Christmas, so once I master this I hope to soon make the upgrade. My mother and I were looking for DIY projects to do together and thought this would be a fun, great starter. When I received the product, I could immediately tell that these were quality molds. It also stated in the product details that this could also be placed and is durable enough for the oven. I have yet to try, but already thinking about the creative things I can do.

purchased these in the hopes of using them with plaster of paris for a VBS Craft- worked perfectly! So far, I've used the oval one 5 times and the rectangle one, 8-- with no issues at all!! the plaster releases very easily with no residue. I will be using the rectangle mould for more of the same craft in August for a Block Party put on by my church. I am so glad that I found these moulds- Thanks Amazon!!
