Installed on my 2015 GMC truck in the OEM tailgate handle I had to make the OEM hole slightly larger with a rat tail file so I could flush mount this camera and it worked out great. I could not see where the camera was marked up or down so It took an adjustment with someone at the wheel letting me know when I had it set good. Tip if you mount this camera this way leave the camera slightly loose this way you have adjustment left to tighten down and end up with the correct position. The cables were compatible with my old cameras cables so it was just plug and play I did snip both cords to fix the mirroring issue and it allowed the extra grids to come up. The picture is amazingly clear for as cheap as it is.

This is camera only. I installed the camera just under the third light on my 2008 Chevy Silverado. It plugged into the second camera input on a 7" screen monitor. Now, it is selectable between backup camera on the rear license plate and load monitor camera looking into the bed of the truck. The price of the the camera is worthwhile. It came with a small auger bit. It is capable of mounting in a drilled hole. I elected to use the standoff mount supplied. Using the double backed adhesive strip, the camera mounted to the rear window.

I used the camera for front view. The quality of image is sub par and the night vision blurs with any oncoming light.After about 45 days the camera just stopped working. I chased all the wiring and the junction at the camera where all the out feeds are in closed was extremely hot so I just unplugged the power supply to prevent damaging my truck. Of course the warranty is only 30 daysAfter contacting the seller about my issue with the camera, they quickly responded and offered to send out a replacement without me even asking. I have to give it to them because their customer service is excellent. Because of that I increased the rating.

very limited contrast. huge amount of wide angle makes it unusable as a side camera, no depth of field to judge distance to objects behind you. Very cheap, and about what you would expect for the money

Don’t expect HD quality as this camera uses 480i resolution. No night vision. Poor colors, but it does work. I only needed it as a backup camera, and I does the job, not as wide view as I’d like, but I paid less than $20 for the camera, so I can’t complain.
