Quality control issues?
Excellant stuff! ... Usually! Two out of five times (I had it on subscription) it smelt of, if you can remember such things, pig swill being prepared. Not being too squeamish I did try it ... it doesn't taste too good either! The jars haven't been cracked, seals were good, expiry of last jar 2/2/2027 (batch LG033F, or ...33P). Can't return, subscription items often pass thier return date before using. But if you're too young to remember what pig swill smells of, that is probably a good thing.

Hot stuff!
Used this as a substitute for nduja as I am vegetarian and it worked very well, although it was much hotter than expected. Next time I may use less. Very tasty.
