RevellSnapTite Apache Helicopter Plastic Model Kit

Ordered for my 7 year old who loves legos and anything else you put together. He wanted to do a model car but I opted for this first before jumping into models that are glued together and painted. He really enjoyed putting it together, downside is, it doesn’t take very long to complete so he’s ready for another one rather quickly. Teaches patience and helps tune fine motor skills in younger generations. Great rainy day or cold weather project too. Already ordered some others for him to assemble.

Great bonding tool to use with your kids. I loved it when I was a kid now my son gets to enjoy it as well!

Pretty good kit to assemble with my 7-year-old grandson. He could handle most of the assembly, but removing the parts from their plastic lattice was tricky -- more care than a 7-year-old is capable of was needed to avoid damaging small parts.

Got this for my son for his birthday. He’s 10. This was such a disappointment. There was hardly any of it that he could do by himself, my husband ended up having to build most of it for him. I definitely can NOT recommend this model helicopter. The rear wing piece won’t even go into place and it doesn’t come close to fitting like the picture in the instructions shows. We had to super glue some of the pieces together along the way and we will definitely have to super glue this piece, but again it won’t even fit all the way into place even if I force it in. The inside of the mold of the helicopter frame isn’t shaped the right way to accommodate this piece. We are very disappointed and won’t be using this brand again in the future.

This model is ok. My 9 year old wants to do models so badly. It's supposed to be snap together, but some parts do not fit together great. Some parts that do better if you glue them. I would say overall this is a below average model kit mostly because some parts do not snap together well. My son was able to follow the directions well though so that's a plus.

I enjoyed making it with him. Fun time for both of us. Not too hard, but not easy either for his age.

I bought this toy for my 8 year old nephew as I wanted him to love the Apache helicopter as much as I do!This is a great toy which now sits at his computer desk reminding him of me :)Advantages:- This is a great toy, at 'not-so-bad' price!- Its easy and fun to assemble. Took my nephew just under 30 mins to put it all together.- Its very similar to what a real apache looks like.Disadvantages:- Its not a toy kids can play with. Assemble it and use it as one of the show pieces on the desk.

You can't go wrong with Revell. I built their models as a kid and they are just as great today. This product is easy to assemble but small hands will end some help. But they will be proud of the results. It is a perfect weekend project at a fantastic price point.
