Perfect for musicians!
This is the perfect lightweight folding chair for music gigs. It only weighs 4 pounds, has a latch to hold it in the seated mode, and a nice comfortable seat and back pad. The pic looks like the back is slanted too much but it’s actually just right for support while holding a guitar or mandolin. Folding it back requires pulling a little latch which was tricky at first but easy when done correctly. It’s very sturdy for such a lightweight and small footprint.

Looks can be deceiving.
Took a chance on this little chair and it’s perfect! It might feel unstable but if you’re rocking around in it, then you can damage it. It’s meant for sitting your butt down. I’ve sat for several hours in it, and I like the support. The cushion is just as thick as a padded house bar stool. The back support sits right in the middle of my back so I can sit up comfortably without my back hurting. The chair is lightweight so if you stand up quickly, it will fall backwards. Not a big thump though. It also has a small foot bar to put my feet on. The chair locks in place with a small device and it stays put until you pull it to fold the chair. I HAVE moved side to side in the chair and it seems like it’s going down, but it doesn’t. Just felt strange since I haven’t sat in a little chair like that. It fits great with the small desk that I reviewed too. Sit your butt down and the chair will last. Update: June 2nd the little chair is still nice! I have spent hours in this chair and I have no pains. Love it! Update: February 1, 2025. The little chair is still a great purchase, and I still spend hours sitting in the chair! I even know how to jump out of it quickly to answer the door without flipping it backwards.

I got my money's worth out of it
I've actually purchased 1 of these chairs before in 2019, and 1 in June 2021. I use this as my primary work chair along with a folding desk that way I can fold up everything at the end of the day and put it in my closet. Needless to say, I average around 6-8 hours a day of seat time on these, so I know these chairs very well. I'm also 6'2" and 210lbs if that helps as well for sizing this out. The main issue with the chair is that the seat padding pretty much flattens out in a few weeks of sitting, which for me was somewhere around 120 hours of seat time. So you might look into seat cushions if those exist. It's sturdy enough to handle my weight shifting around, although I think I'm on the upper end of what I think this can take, but this chair and my 1st chair that I had for 2 years are still fairly sturdy and can hold my weight. There is a problem though. I replaced my 1st chair because I noticed a broken cross brace weld on the rear legs. At that point, it was nearly 2 years old and I had sat in it for 1000's of hours before I retired it(I still have it). On my 2nd chair, the same weld broke again after 6 months, and I'm beginning to think it did the same on the 1st chair and I just didn't notice it for another 1.5 years, which goes to show it's still sturdy on carpet without the bracing. I don't know if that would be the same story on tile or wood though. But once again, I've probably put well over 1000+ hours of sitting on the current chair and continue to do so. I think I've more than got my money's worth, and would buy it again in the future. It would really be solid if the seat cushion was revamped to not flatten out as quickly as it does.

This is an excellent product -- strong, light, comfortable, and affordable
This is an excellent product -- strong, light, comfortable, and affordable. I use this for my elderly Mom as a rest and transfer station when she's moving between bed, commode, and walker. It's so easy for me to pick up by the backrest with one hand and swing it to wherever I need it while I'm simultaneously supporting Mom with the other hand. It's comfortable and sturdy enough to slide Mom around (over a wood floor) if I need to move her a foot or two from wherever she is. Seriously... I'm so happy that I could find this product. I looked all over for good candidates before taking a deep breath and ordering this one. I should probably order a couple of more to stockpile for the next decades if this one ever gives up the ghost. Updated, 1 year later: I'm still impressed! It is holding up well even under atypical use. I often swivel the chair around, using the backrest as a lever, while Mom (who is disabled) is sitting on it. The chair was certainly not designed for this kind of use but it shows no problems. No creaking. No loosening of the screws or joints. I'm so happy!

Padded folding stool
This little guy saves my wretched back while I cook, fold laundry, and fill my fridge. It is small enough that I tend to just leave it out but it folds nicely when needed.

Lightweight but to small
Compact and easy to carry around. I make balloon animals for a living and I bring it with me to gigs. I gave it 3 stars because it’s very slim and uncomfortable. I’m a mid-sized woman and there’s not enough room for me to sit comfortably for hours. I usually alternate between standing and sitting so it get’s the job done, but if you’re planning on sitting for a while don’t buy this chair.

Don't waste your $
Trash...it fell apart in less than 2 weeks ....only gave 1 star because I had to put something but if I'm being honest it would be a negative 5 stars

SO Comfortable !!!
Just love this sturdy little chair ! It’s perfect as a set chair on a film shoot. We would usually get these huge chairs and lumber them up to set … or tiny camping chairs to tuck away on a small set. This is perfect, easy to slip behind something and only take up a minimal space. Light weight , easy to open (ish) ♥️
