Pure Vanilla Extract for Baking 4 oz - Gourmet Vanilla Made from Real Vanilla Beans for Desserts and Baking Sweets

I heard the ingredients that really make a difference when baking is the vanilla and butter. I was skeptical but after baking for a couple of years now, I could never get my baked goods to taste exceptional...until now! I honestly can’t believe what a difference just ONE ingredient can make but after using the Deluxe Pure Vanilla Extract for a week (baking cookies, cakes, etc.) for my co-workers, friends and family, now they all say it’s the best they’ve ever tasted! I’ll definitely be ordering more!

This has an amazing taste! At this price point, it is definitely the best there is. The flavor (and scent) of this vanilla is pleasant, but not overpowering. I have used this in baked goods, in coffee, in cocktails and more. I would recommend again and again!

I use only pure vanilla extract in my baking and dessert making. This Deluxe Pure Vanilla cost less than what I usually pay for pure vanilla extract, so I was very excited to give it a try and perhaps find a new favorite brand. However, once this vanilla arrived I was disappointed to see that it contains cane sugar. It is my own fault for not reading the whole description fully because now I can see that this fact is clearly mentioned there. In my defense, I buy several different pure vanilla extracts from different brands and not one of them contains sugar, so I was under the impression that that’s the industry standard for pure vanilla extract. After reading up on it I see that pure vanilla extract can be made with or without sugar. Comparing this vanilla to a pure Madagascar vanilla extract I have at home this vanilla is slightly lighter in color and it tastes sweeter. Overall the vanilla flavor comes though nicely but not quite as richly as in the unsweetened Madagascar one. Personally I prefer a pure vanilla extract without the added sweetener for my desserts and baking but for the price this is certainly a nice option.

Shipment arrived quickly with plenty of time for holiday baking. I would definitely order this again....nice large bottle!

I needed alcohol-free vanilla. This is what came up when I searched, so I bought it. Absolutely useless to me now.

Pardon me if I'm mistaken, but when I buy "Pure" vanilla extract that advertises "high end quality" along with a premium price to match, I expect "Pure Vanilla Extract", not something that's been watered down and sweetened. It's not what I was expecting based on the product listing description, which I find a bit misleading. Side Note: there is one photo in the listing where it does mention the ingredients in a small, light colored type, which I totally missed. That being said, this is a very average tasting vanilla extract. There's nothing about the flavor that makes me say "wow!".

Vanilla extract needs to age a bit to taste well-rounded and “smooth” rather than just as a slightly bitter vanilla flavored alcohol. A very small percentage (less than 5%) of Sugar or Corn Syrup is usually added as a stabilizer to shorten the aging process (turn that bottle of grocery store vanilla extract over and read the label - it likely contains corn syrup) to to add depth to the flavor. This vanilla extract has a nice flavor at a very reasonable price point. The flavor isn’t as rich as some I have used over the years nor is it the weakest (I’m looking at you Frontier Organic), but it’s a smooth, well-rounded flavor that is easy to work with. At this price point, 4 ounces is a great bargain. Because the bottle is large and I won’t be using it all quickly, it will age a bit more for even more depth of flavor.
