Solid performance and great build quality for my compact rig
I recently upgraded my gaming setup and decided to go with the SilverStone FX600 Platinum power supply. Let me tell you it’s been a fantastic addition to my build. I was initially drawn to it because of its compact Flex ATX design. I’m working with a smaller case and space was a real concern. This PSU fits perfectly without cramping anything up inside. What really stands out is the efficiency. It’s got that Cybenetics Platinum rating which means I’m getting some serious bang for my buck on power consumption. I’ve noticed my electricity bill isn’t taking a hit like it used to with my old power supply. That’s a pretty big deal for someone who spends hours gaming or rendering graphics. The cable management was also surprisingly easy. It comes with flat cables which made routing them much simpler. No weird bulges or tangles in my case which is something I was really hoping for. I hate when those cables ruin an otherwise clean build. One thing I appreciated was the quiet operation. The fan doesn’t kick on loudly even under load, so I can really appreciate the immersive experience of my games without a bunch of noise in the background. You know how distracting that can be. Overall I’m really satisfied with the SilverStone FX600 Platinum. It’s reliable, efficient and fits the bill perfectly for my compact setup. If you're thinking about a power supply for a smaller case and want something that keeps everything running smoothly without driving up the electric bill, this might just be your best bet.

Leise auch unter ca 400W Last. Komischerweise ist da noch ein strang mit Molex Stecker für IDE Festplatten und sogar für Diskettenlaufwerke dran - habe diesen abgeschnitten. Kabellängen sind eher für ITX Systeme abgestimmt.

The SilverStone FX600 is very low noise compared with other 1U FLEX PSUs. How ever, the FX600 can further be upgraded with the standard 5V version of the Noctua NF-A4x20 fan (not 12V, and not PWM/FLEX). Upgrading is only recommendable if the system does not exceed 500W continuous load.
