Great phone. Works well and sounds good too. Need landline phones here.
I have had these phones before and have always loved them because of their quality and ease of use. We have to still have landline phones here because we dont get cell phone service here because of the mountain ranges and living way back in the boons. Love this phone. Thanks.

Best quality and works well as wall phone .
Heavy duty. Only one that actually works as wall phones all others advertised on Amazon were garbage , flimsy and fell off the wall

Good for what it is
It's a very good phone overall, with a few shortcomings. Like most inexpensive Trimline-type phones, the base is extremely lightweight and the coiled cord is on the short side. I have mine mounted on the wall next to the bed, so neither point is a problem. But it could get annoying used on a table-top. The base is likely to jump up every time you pick up the phone. Otherwise, my only real gripe is that the backlight on the dial pad is only barely bright enough to be useful. With all the blindingly bright LEDs turning up on things these days, I was surprised that the light on this phone was so dim.

ATT 210 Corded TRIMLINE Phone with 13-Number Memory
Being the "oldsters" that we are, we still have a land line and we have 3 phones in our condo. One of our applications is for a wall mount phone in our second bedroom (EG: computer room). Back in July 2020 we purchased a similar style/type of phone (different brand - trim line "old princess style" $39.99). This phone worked/sounded great until about 2 months when suddenly it stopped working. You could hear a dial tone but could not dial out or answer calls. I searched for the same phone at Amazon and found it but for way too high a price. I tried a couple of other phones, both of which worked for the application, both of which cost you could not permanently shut the ringer completely off. This we came across this phone and decided to give it a try. At first I was hesitant after unpacking it because all of the electronics are in the "handset" only, meaning that the base is simply the wall mount (or phone docking station). In addition, the handset cord is also "part of the wire that connects the phone to the wall". Depending on your mounting circumstances, this aspect of this phone could make mounting this phone a little different than normal. All of the above now said, mounting for our particular circumstances was a cinch! The base had ample space on the bottom/wall mount side with which to store the extra phone wire should you need to. Plus it has multiple paths on the bottom/wall mount side with which run the direction of the end of the wire that connects the phone to the wall. Once connected, the phone works/sounds great! We needed the set the volume level only at the #2 position as opposed to the max level. In addition, you can shut the ringer completely off! Highly recommend for this (wall mount) type of application. CPBassman

Not Good For Wall Mounting
Low cost, but will not shut off when mounted on wall. Bad design!

Can't be hung on th wall.
I can not beiieve that this thing made it "out the door". I have an earlier version that developed a short. So I decided to replace it with the current version. Bad idea! Hanging on the wall the handset falls off. The fact that this thing is on the market shows you how crappy Chinese Design/Quality Control is. My old one had a tab that kept the handset from following off. There is nothing on this current design to prevent the handset from falling off when hanging on the wall. If you intend to hang this thing on the wall: It Won't Work.

Phone from the past does the job
We needed a phone that would serve us if we lost power to our cordless phones. This product is just right. We plug it in for temporary outages. They are few and far between. Well built and doesn't require a lot of thinking. Perfect for me. Pick it up and dial. Phone line powers all the features. It doesn't store numbers after unplugged but not a big deal. It's a back up, period.

Just needed a small phone in my kitchen that worked. This filled the job.

I really like this phone. It feels good in the hand and has a nice weight to it. I only wish that the numbers were black on white instead of black on grey. It would make for better contrast for aging eyes.

Don't "save money" and buy this like I did! Spend enough in a decent phone and be happy not sad!
