Galaxy S8 Case, Clayco [Helios Series] Premium Hybrid Protective Case for Samsung Galaxy S8 (Black)

Love the color had a different case that was black and could never find the phone. This is perfect... Fits my S8 and the side buttons work fine so far. dropped the phone and no problems Love thegreen/silver color

I ordered this case before there were any reviews (before the phone was out so I would have it when I got the phone). I'm not sure why everyone is rating it so low! The buttons are stiff at first, but they do ease up quickly (couple days). The color is great! At first I was worried the case was too slippery. I was used to the Speck Grip case which I love (had for old phone), but I'm not willing to fork out $40 for it! So I got this case and the Spigen one. I ended up returning the Spigen one bc the color wasn't as good, and because this one has better grip with the texture on the back which makes it feel less likely to slip out of my hand. I only gave it 4 stars because the Speck Grip case is still better (the grip!) But I'm very happy with this case for the cost!UPDATE- After having this case for 3 months I dropped the phone and it hit and broke the outside silver piece into pieces. Once they piece is gone the case is not comfortable to hold. I originally ordered this as because the Speck was $40. So I bought this one to wait for the speck price to go down. Just purchased the speck for $22. I still recommend the speck if you're willing to pay a couple extra bucks!

I can't figure out why people are complaining about the buttons being hard to push with this case on. I have TINY hands and have no issues with my Clayco case.Pluses: - Good protection. No, it's not an Otterbox Defender. But, I wanted a protective case that's a lot lower profile than a Defender. I got exactly that with this case. - Perfect fit all the way around. All the buttons and ports are easily accessible. - The magnet that I have on the back of my phone works just fine through this case; no need for a finger ring/magnet or Pop Socket other extra magnetic device. Therefore, I can attach my phone to my magnetic holster in my car without extra apparatus attached to my case. - As I said, my hands are small - no joke... my thumb to pinkie span is only 7.75" at most, from the base of my palm to the tip of my middle finger is only 6.5", and my palm is only 3.25" wide. With this case, I can actually reach everything on my phone even if I'm using it one-handed because the case isn't bulky. I have a few cases that add so much to the overall size of the phone that I can't utilize the phone very easily unless I'm using it with 2 hands.If you have small hands and want an economical, protective case for your S8, this is a very good choice. I would say that this case is about the same amount of protection as my Otterbox Symmetry case. I like them both and frequently switch between the 2.I do recommend that you NOT try to take this case off by prying the sides open, however. I would venture to guess that's how some of these people broke the side plastic. I always take this case off by pushing the top corners out first. Then, the whole phone comes out with no problem.

Fits my S8 perfectly. The top and bottom are slightly curved to protect the screen from touching any surface when it's lying face down. The right and left side are slightly lower than the screen, so the curved screen is still visible from the side. The gold color is a little more muted than the pictures show, but I don't mind. Gold finish does not seem to chip easily. The black crosshatch pattern feels nice and smooth.Side buttons are a little hard to press, I'll have to see if that gets easier over time.Tried dropping from 1ft and 2ft above hardwood floor, no issues. I'm too nervous to try dropping from any higher, but the material does seem sturdy and reliable - I just don't want to risk it!UPDATE: 1 month later I still love it. The buttons have gotten easier to press over time, and the material has held up to a lot of use. No scratches or dents. Love the color.UPDATE: 3 months later it's still great. No chips or scratches, it still looks brand new. I have now dropped it on multiple occasions from 4-5 feet off the ground. Phone is intact and works perfectly.

I did not expect the pink rubber to be like a fake looking bubble gum color. I hated this case, the cut out in the back kept falling out when I took the case off to clean it. The pink rubber absorbed the color of my jeans and it looked so badly stained. I once dropped my phone and although it did protect as expected the hard plastic split. I ordered a new case all together and will not buy this particular brand again. It's not worth the money.

The case is very pretty. And I like that it gives my phone more coverage that a lot of other cases do without being incredibly bulky. The only complaint I have is that the buttons on the side of the phone are much harder to push than with other cases I have for my phone.

Product fits like a glove on my s8 and is lovely on my phone. I need star because I thought it had a front piece as well. I'll contact seller about that. Buttons are stiff but seam to loosen as you use your phone

I have dropped my phone a few times from 5 feet in the air, even to the point where it rolled across the ground, and this case has never scratched or cracked. I've also taken it off a few dozen times (to use the Gear VR headset). It's still as good as new, and so is my Galaxy S8.I can't say the same for cases I've bought for previous phones, where the plastic ring broke after a few months. Seems like Clayco designed a good one.
