Bray, Podium Audio: Audible Books & Originals Review: Great read! - The authors have written a very interesting and engrossing Sci-Fi military action third book in this series. Very detailed military action with excellent descriptions and characters. Difficult to put this story series down! Review: a fine addition - If you are a fan of these books, this one won’t disappoint. The action, characters, and story are all here and progressing. There’s something about this series that strikes me as odd, and I can’t quite figure it out. There’s a simplistic feel, maybe all the good guys are too good? Still, I just read book 3…

Ghost soldiers -friend or foe?
Reach and others encountered a band of Ghost RUPACs that appeared to be friendly, but do they have ulterior motives? They share their tech and hatch a plan to take over a base of vehicles and track Karta who escaped on their last attack. Liana has a crisis of ability as she self doubts that she is up to the challenge of leading. Reach goes undercover and Brody gets to kill commies! More fighting as the Osay and RUPAC square off again.. Graphic violence, detailed military attacks, suspense, double crosses, technical advances, pain weapons and mire all make this a fun tale as the stakes become bigger.

great series
All three books are great reads. Lots of action and Brody stills the show. The books have everything a military sci-fi reader wants.

Way too long!
The authors clearly loves the Army, Army Rangers, military jargon and loving descriptions of battles; and those things are fine, in small doses. However, this book spends way too long on descriptions of the Army, Army Rangers, military jargon and battle descriptions. Of course, having read the first two books, I knew this; however, I assumed the author would pick things up in book three, but now, the book continued to obsessively describe military life, stereotypes and jargon. The large case of characters are poorly described and largely interchangeable. I think for me this book is the end of the series.

Sci-fi has hit a new high!
This book takes the series even higher! It is like watching every 80s/early 90s action movie looped together in one awesome setting! The characters bring the story to life, they are like friends you know and the laughs are a good trip back to a fun time. The story keeps you turning the pages and the humor has you laughing and groaning at times, but it builds the story to the point that you can't put this series down! Never want to see it end.

Book 3 ramps up the awesome. The colonists have learned that centuries have passed but it seems that the old war is still going. The enemy has several factions all with agendas and they aren't playing nice with one another. Liana is becoming the leader her people need her to be. The rangers are going to ranger. We also find a deeper angle to the warbot that seems to be a living movie quoter. New tech, new oponents. Considering how many lies the colonists have been told about how the war back on earth ended I'm wondering if the latest line about the planet being glassed is just another? With all the factions the reclamation team are going to have their work cut out for them when they show up in the next entry.

The continuation of a captivating tail of the trials and tribulations of a refugee mission to a new planet, only to find the planet is not only home to some bizarre preditors but also the enemy the it wanted to escape from.

The series continues the way is started with plenty of action in typical Abspach/Chaney fashion. My main contention is although true to SOP a lot of the acronyms and standard US/Ranger speak takes a while to figure out especially during hectic action scenes where trying to work out the full details loses the pace somewhat. The other is Brody is a great and fun character but the number of film references/ quotes is so many that im sure loads are missed but everyone gets a few due to the spread of topics and name drops. Still, the series is well written and interesting, so I shall keep an eye out for book 4
