Practice Tool with Cool Color Design, Sturdy and Durable Practice Butterfly Trainer

I recently purchased a Practice Butterfly Knife Trainer and I'm very pleased with it. It's made of durable stainless steel and has a solid feel. Plus, the blades are dull, making it totally safe for training and practicing knife tricks. The handle is comfortable and easy to grip, while the size allows for precise control and accuracy. All in all, I'm really happy with my Practice Butterfly Knife Trainer. It's the perfect tool for anyone looking to perfect their knife tricks or just have some fun. Sturdy product with great quality and beautiful colored finish. Comes with a small hex tool for tightening or loosening the bolts and a spring latch to lock it The blade is dulled and thick to prevent injury, but has enough weight to feel like a real knife. Overall great product for practicing tricks

This is a cheap Balisong, so bare that in mind when Purchasing. However it is perfect for a beginner. Stylish, comes with a sized screwdriver to tighten or loosen the screws. Noise level isn’t extreme but isn’t quiet either. Weight is heavy and works well in favour with flipping spinning and turning. Recommends for beginner to intermediate.

Very good quality I don’t regret buying but the Allen key that comes with it is horrendous all it does is chews up the screws and makes you wanna replace them and other than that trainer it’s self is awesome it feels high quality I’ve had this for a year

My son was really happy with this product. Was much better quality then one he purchased from a different seller. Has kept him entertained for hours.

The colors on this balisong are great, and it looks cool it's also decently heavy, which makes flipping it feel nice, and the sound it makes is really satisfying. The big negatives of this one is that the little wrench that comes with it does not fit the screws properly so you can’t tighten it when it gets loose. It started falling apart after just a day or two of use. It’s great if you just want something that looks nice, but not the best if you plan to use it a lot.

Not bad, for a tenner, but you need a small set of torque bits cause it gets loose constantly, not good bearings, but again it’s £10 what do you expect?

this is a fun little trainer tool. it's all quality anodized aluminum and easy to disassemble if needed. I like that the blade mimics the shape of an actual blade.

It's built heavy but not tough I played with it for 4 days and it broke apart would not suggest buying

A few months ago, I received a Balisong trainer with a bottle opener on the end. It made for a cool bottle opener, but the rounded end did little to support learning how to Balisong juggle (er, twirl, whatever). I say this only to help explain that these are not all created equal, and the one I'm writing about today is far superior. The action is smooth. I've never used a real Balisong knife, nor a trainer that is at a great expense, but this one flips around how I would want it to without getting caught up on anything. I appreciate that the inner piece is actually the shape of a blade, but certainly is NOT a blade and therefore will not hurt you at all (unlock the bottle opener one I previously mentioned). Not much to say outside of that though. It works as advertised, has a nice blue color, and comes in a little pouch. If you're looking to practice with a Balisong, but don't want to get sliced using the real thing, this is a good solution.

If you have an interest in butterfly knives, a trainer knife is fantastic way to experiment and practice techniques with significantly less risks of nics and cuts. Pulling this practice tool (knife) out of the packaging and comparing it with an actual butterfly knife, this one looks and feels really good. It has a very good weight to it and feels very close to the actual butterfly knife. Folded up, the practice one was about a half inch longer and a bit narrower than mine. Unfolded, the practice one was almost an inch longer. The product page doesn’t mention what materials the practice knife is made out of, but the blade is some sort of plastic and, after running a magnet across the handles, I believe they’re aluminum. There is an adjustable spring-loaded lock on the handles that, with a slight squeeze of the handles, easily pops open. Pretty cool. The plastic blade is squared off all the way around so you may whack the heck out of your fingers but they’ll still be attached. Comparing the weight balance on the practice vs the real butterfly, they’re pretty similar. Most importantly, the twirling action on the practice one is very good. I didn’t have to make any meaningful adjustment using the practice one vs the real one. While I can do a basic twirl to open a butterfly knife, I’m excited to use this to experiment with other techniques. At the time of this review, this item is $14.59. I think it is a very good deal and would recommend it.

Not really sturdy. It’s expected to be dropped while practicing and then the screws came out.
