Staining Kit – Includes Sponge, 2 Cloths and Gloves to Effectively Stain Wood

I had a new window installed and was too cold to use regular stain needing to have the windows open. Looked on Amazon and found their stain and then this kit. Was nice to have the gloves and all. Used it to stain my new window with their stain and was very happy with how it turned out. Probably a bit spendy for what was included but when it went on so well how can one complain?

The sponge broke down while I was suing it to stain a coffee table leaving little bits all over.

It had a fairy cheap sponge that could’ve been purchased at a dollar store for a buck, a couple of paper towels and a glove. It was way over priced and really useless think twice before you purchase this.

It's nice, though I wish there were two sponges. I purchased this kit in order to stain just a few small pieces of Oak in a Cherry colored stain, these pieces are going to be attached as side panels on a desktop audio system along the lines of old school audio components from the 1970's, 80's and early 90's. I applied two coats and allowed plenty of time for the stain to saturate the wood. I wanted the finished product to appear as rosewood almost, to complement the all black aluminum of the four pieces which make up the stack by Earmen. After penetrating I wiped them dry, then buffed them out nicely. I then used a nice couple of coats of Danish Oil to give them a satin sheen. I'm very happy with the outcome.
