This was like a futon -- it tries to do too much, and so it's not great at any of it. The plastic, I think, makes it extremely difficult to use. In order for a staple to fire, I often had to try again and again to get one to come out. If it wasn't the right angle, or if there were only 5 staples left, it wouldn't work. Something that should've taken 20 minutes took an hour. I was reupholstering a dining chair -- a really easy task. GET A METAL STAPLE GUN THAT DOES A 1-2 THINGS -- not a plastic one that tries to do 5.

Very versatile tool. I reupholstered my old e34 back seat with some old pleather i had laying around. Unit will sometimes break staples it is so powerful it is hard to get accurate shots so you have to learn to compensate.I had no problem on wood but it wont go through steel yet 😆 people that say it doesn't work are probably loading the staples wrong. You have to open the clip and place staples in front of the slot where loading mechanism is not in the sheath of the slider.

Bought this to repair my cat trees scratch posts struggles to nail into the posts and ive noticed its jammed a few times. I might just be weak but i struggle to push the trigger and use the gun. Overall not the worst ive tried.
