Do some research, and you will succeed.
My experience with this screen was like a roller coaster. I was really excited to get the screen replaced. When I opened the package, I was frightened. I thought to myself, "This is going to be difficult." With a few connections, I thought, how am I to do this. I searched that video site that everyone likes, YOU know which one. I found a couple of great videos that explained how to disassemble, that was not bad. What was in the packaging still didn't look like what was in front of me. What do I do to get just the screen removed? I found a video on that site that was in german, and there was another that was fast. The fast one showed the person prying the screen out. That's what you have to do. Get to the point where you can pry the screen out. Luckily I had a razor blade, they were using what looked like hard guitar picks. I was able to get the broken glass off and the sticky residue. I also had, from a long ago purchase, some double sided 3mm tape. I thought I better apply some of this so the screen doesn't fall out. Attached it, followed the instructions from the first video to put it back together, and it is working!Best of all, the MS logo is in full force at the top.I am quite proud of myself, as the last couple of times I chose to replace the screen, didn't work out as planned.Thank you!

Works perfectly
I was initially hesitant to order this since it's not clear if it's a genuine OEM part and I was concerned about the quality. I ordered, along with a kit of tools to disassemble and install. I was very pleased to find that this came with the flexible circuits for the phone buttons and the audio jack already installed, so I did not have to re-use those from my old screen. The only items that needed to be swapped over were the vibrator motor and the speaker, neither of which were particularly difficult to remove from the old frame. The entire process took about one hour. Although not pictured, there is a Microsoft logo on the screen. It was well packaged and had the typical thin film protector along with a second thin plastic screen protector which I didn't notice at first. I was pleased to see that the screen works perfectly and has no visible flaws in its finish or color reproduction, no dead pixels etc.

Fix it yourself! Don’t be afraid!
I just performed my first phone surgery, and I think anyone with a little patience and reasonably steady hands can do it too!I ordered the new display on the Sunday before Labor Day, and it arrived on Friday, which was before the beginning of Amazon’s estimated delivery window. (Cortana got it right.) I ordered mine from nancyyuu.I originally planned to have it installed by a repair shop, but after reading Mr. Gothard’s review here I thought I would give it a try myself. It’s not quite as simple as he makes it sound, as what’s included is basically the whole casing and you’ll have to transplant most of your phone’s innards. But it’s still very easy. There’s a YouTube video by an account called ShinduLab that shows you how to disassemble and reassemble your phone. You only have to do about half of what’s shown in the video. I had some double-sided tape handy, but didn’t end up using it because the residual adhesive on the parts, along with the fact that most of them fit together pretty snugly, is enough to hold everything together. The whole process took about twenty minutes. You will need a spudger and one of those little hexagonal star-shaped screwdrivers.I’m so, so happy with my purchase. Not only is my phone good as new, but I have a new confidence about my ability to handle little electronic repairs by myself. I’m almost glad my phone broke!

Remember those “put a nail down with your Lumia” videos? This is NOT that
Came as “original”, looking good AT THAT TIME...FAKE! CHEAP FAKE! Remember those “put a nail down with your Lumia” videos? This is NOT that! This cheap crap is all in scratches after sitting on my night stand for few months - more than “a light use”...

Really great screen/lcd digitizer replacement
I gave it 5 stars because it looked new, everyone thought I got a brand new phone. Upon deep inspection, you can tell it has been used, I think, just because of minor, very minor, nearly invisible to the eye scratches (I bought used, by the way). Assembly is not terribly difficult, but I would recommend a lot of lighting, patience and a steady hand.**** If you have broken your screen, in order to replace it, you need to buy this product. I don't think the screen comes by itself, it's paired with the lcd digitizer. Also buy phone repair tools.******* Once I replaced my screen, I noticed issues with battery life and it not holding a full charge and turning off on itself if not charged. Green and beige screen fading. It wasn't because of this screen replacement, I think it was a consequence of dropping my phone. Battery replacement fixed that immediately! Just in case anyone experiences a similar battery problem.

The 950 is not designed to have the glass removed from the screen easily (it can be done
We ordered this as a replacement for a shattered screen. I first attempted to simply replace the glass screen as the digitizer was fully functional. The 950 is not designed to have the glass removed from the screen easily (it can be done, but odds are you'll break the LCD screen as well). I purchased this product instead. The replacement was very simple. Remove screws, remove the screen and frame, and simply place the new one in.The description noted that the screen has a minor scratch, but upon inspection I could not find any visible flaws. My wife has now shattered her screen again. That isn't to say this is of poor quality, it is just that the 950 wasn't designed to handle falls like the 920, 930, 1020, or 830. It seems the x50 series all suffer from this flaw.

perfect condition and function from seller nancyyuu
Perfect screen just as described, works excellently when peelable ribbon and detachable facial recognition board from old screen is reapplied to new screen. This is the third time I have bought a screen from the seller nancyyuu and all three have been exceptional.
