Netgear WNDR3800 N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router Premium Edition

Directions on setup were a bit confusing, had to reset router completely to get it work. So far router is working as expected, I was hoping for closer to 60mbs download speed but only getting 30 mbs download speed, still way better than my previous router which was only getting 10-15 mbs download speeds.Update (6/21/18): Just shy of one year in operation the router just took a dump... Completely stopped working, lights won't even light up for no apparent reason at all. No warranty.

I have had this router for a few months now and am very pleased with it. It was easy to set up (customize name and password settings) and have not had to reboot it for any reason. It works strong and steady and that's what I want when I purchase a router. Netgear did it again.The router came packaged nicely in a box with all the cords.

Works very well with a very high range. I am able to get WiFi outside of my apartment building that I have a basement apartment for and can even get signal on the other side of the parking lot where my car is.

Received the unit very quicly; however, the 2.4Ghz band never worked even after a full reset to the factory configuration and multiple firmware updates.

I could not get this route to work so I called Netgear. They provide free support for their devices for 90 days after purchase. However, I was told that since this device was manufactured in 2011/12 and is now over 4 years old (outdated.....) they would only provide me with free assistance if I proved to them that I just bought it yesterday. Needless to say, I am returning it and getting something manufactured this year. It would have been good to know this little tidbit before I bought it.

Brilliant! Bought this to extend my wired and wireless network into my garden office. I am not using it as a broadband router (as described) it is connected to my wired network and I have set it up as a new wireless access point too... With dual band 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz wireless showing as two separate wireless networks, it allows old and new devices mobiles, laptops etc to be able to connect on both badns. Speeds reaching 300Mbps wireless... My phone has never been so fast on the net!Anyway, does what I intended, looks great mounted on the wall of my cabin, and does the job. I expect it would be a great replacement to the standard wireless routers that comes with your broadband if you have an older cable router/modem configuration! Not likely these days, but I can say that it's network wireless coverage is far wider and further than my Superhub! And connection speeds seem to be much faster!

Excellent. Easily set up and hasn't dropped out once. Range not exceptional, but manages 3-4 rooms width in an old house, but reduced upstairs.Don't expect miracles and you will be more than satisfied. Just got Infiniti and it handles the speed well.
