Love this board. Used it for wedding signage and also baby gender revile. I used chalk markers on it and they were easy to wash off not leaving any stains.

Good quality , sturdy. Third time I purchased to give to young couple that got engaged. They used it for their shower and wedding.

The product arrived and it looks really great, however, the chalk wouldn't work well on it. I could tell there was a plastic coating but it wasn't made easily to remove. I did find a way to slice it at the top and start to peel it down and the board underneath is beautiful. Although I love the board, I am still working to remove the plastic as it doesn't easily remove from around the edges.

I would have given this item more stars, but I think I got someone else's returned product.There was no protective covering over either board, and both boards had smudging and ghosting on them plus defective surfaces. Also, the frame is splintery, apparently it had not been sanded before finishing.UPDATE:I returned the sandwich-board for a replacement, and the replacement was just as bad (although not quite as splintery) as the replaced one.This time I am posting pictures of the smudges and dings, and an area where a splinter broke off and landed on the board during unboxing. Someone could get a splinter caught in their skin and an infection can happen as a result, so be careful with this product.Again, there was no protective cover on the blackboard, it had already been removed. If you look carefully in the pictures you can see the remnant of a plastic covering along the frame where it meets the blackboard. And, again, there was ghosting and Wipe marks, indicating someone had attempted to clean it before they returned it.Some of the images I am posting show dust, smudges, and scratches on the surface of the blackboards. One picture shows where it looks like moisture had collected in the corner and dried, leaving a gritty, dusty residue. You can also see several dings in the surface of the blackboard - some indented, some sticking outward. The frame had splintering and scratches and scrapes on it.I'm lowering my review from 3 stars to 1 star - and I wish I could give it 0 stars since I had to return this thing twice because even the replacement is of unacceptable quality.

Great quality, except that the chain connecting at the bottom came loose. Otherwise, very happy with the purchase.

We bought this for our small business and placed it outside our door the day after buying it. ( the description says for outdoor use)The “chalkboard metal piece” that is within the wood frame had waves in it after being outside for a few hours?We ended up bringing it inside our store which is not what we wanted at all.Really disappointed that we paid over $60 for this item and will not be able to use it the way we wanted.
