My favourite of this series. Rhys is such a vibe, he can do no wrong. The plot is great and it’s such an easy read if your in the mood for a contemporary romance.

This book was definitely my favourite in the Twisted series! Rhys and Bridget’s story is so beautifully written- I found myself laughing, crying and giggling over their banter! I didn’t feel like it was very rushed and loved that you got to learn so much about each character as their relationship developed. I absolutely love Bridget!! She is headstrong, independent, smart, funny, and such an inspiration to me. It’s also so nice to see an FMC have the more powerful position for once!! The book as a whole had me gripped from the beginning. There were some amazing twists and turns in this book which left my jaw on the ground! Normally, I’m pretty good at predicting such things but the way Ana wrote the story had me going in completely blind!! This is the type of book I wish I could read for the first time again! A truly wonderful read!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars for this book. I wasn't originally in planning reading any of the twisted books but I've been convinced by social media and videos... a few things to mention that I absolutely love: Bridget!!! - I loved Bridget and her personality. I love how strongheaded she is and the Rhys and Bridget - I love their push and pull between them and the pace of how the relationship grew over the couple months/year. This book in general is a good mixture of plot, romance and drama that keeps me hooked and can't stop reading ✔️ forbidden love ✔️ ex military mmc ✔️ princess fmc ✔️ enemies to lovers ✔️ grumpy and sunshine 👸🤵🏻 I don't know there was something about this book that's really wasn't a 4 and above. I can't even pinpoint what it is. I think in a way the characters feels a bit flat. I wanted to know more about Rhy's history. There are also a few parts I felt like Rhy was a bit cringey? Like his life is revolving around Bridget and we didn't even get to see his interactions with his military friends etc. I just felt the characters were too flat and surface level 👸🤵🏻

I love a good bodyguard romance, and Rhys and Bridget were perfection, I was hooked instantly. Not only did it have a fantastic storyline but I loved both Rhys and Bridget’s characters so much. They complemented each other in every way and had an instant attraction, one they both refused to acknowledge and it had you giddy! My favourite part of the story was that it was set over a number of years. The timeline really made for an in-depth and realistic building of their connection and the story as a whole. I loved being able to see their relationship develop over the years as they went from, tolerating each other due to their positions, developing a friendship and camaraderie, and then watching them give into their chemistry. Bridget was badass and stepped into her role beautifully, considering if was one she never thought she would be in. I loved everything about her she was smart, compassionate, dedicated and her sass was they best addition. Rhys was everything you would want in an alpha male, ex navy seal bodyguard. Strong and silent, but oh so swoony. Let’s just say he was a softy for Bridget, but on the more perfect way. The character development in the book was great, I enjoyed seeing them evolve and change throughout the story as well as open themselves up to new possibilities and work through past issues. These two did everything they could to fight the very strong but forbidden feelings they had- years of built up tension and banter left for some explosive chemistry between them. I loved the couple little twist this book had as well, this book kept you guessing as to what it would be, and it unfolded wonderfully! I also love the small hints we got for then next two books in the epilogue, can’t wait for Jules and Josh’s story! I couldn’t put this book now, I think this is going to be my favourite of the series! Highly recommend is you love, a modern day princess and bodyguard, forbidden romance, with an age gap and forced proximity! 5⭐️
