My Audi LOVES this oil
This is the absolute best engine oil I have ever used. I have been changing my own oil for over 15 years. I just don't trust places like Jiffy Lube, because I suspect they use cheap, inferior oils. I also don't trust their low-wage employees, because my mother visited such a place once with her car and they didn't screw the drain plug on properly, so she lost all of her oil on the way home. This is why the old saying goes, "if you want something done right, do it yourself," so I now change my own oil, as well as my mom's and my girlfriend's.Anyway, back to the oil.... I have been using Castrol Full Synthetic motor oil on my 2000 Audi A4 with 235 000 miles. I used Castrol, because this is what the dealership uses. But after learning that the Germans don't use Castrol, but rather use Liqui Moly or Motul, I decided to give this a try. I have always held the belief that all major brand motor oils are more or less the same. I was wrong. Very wrong.I decided to go with Liqui Moly instead of Motul, because I learned that Liqui Moly is the more popular and slightly less expensive brand; I also liked the cool purple jug it comes in. Before changing oils, I figured I should do an engine flush, so I also ordered the Liqui Moly Pro-Line Engine Flush. I have never used an engine flush before, but figured that since I was changing oil brands, I should do it. Plus it had really good reviews, so I figured it won't hurt.Wow! Wow! Wow!!My car runs and drives like a brand new car. It's unbelievable. I would have never imagined that the type of oil would make that much of a difference. The engine flush worked great and once I put this oil in, I think I heard my Audi whisper "Danke Schoen" as the engine ran much smoother and quieter. It seems I have more torque and when my turbo kicks in, it pulls much faster. I wish I would have known about this oil years ago! I will never use another brand of oil for my Audi again. Btw, make sure to use a high-quality oil filter as well. I tend to stick with Bosch or Mann filters.

New loyal user
I used to be an avid Royal Purple user, but after trying this as a recommendation from a friend I won't be going back to the Purple. As an American living in Germany with a fast car and the Autobahns, it has been difficult finding a great motor oil to use on my 2007 Audi RS4 that can withstand the high demands of a motor notorious for burning oil.Traditional brands such as Castrol or Mobile 1 would burn off a quart about every 1 to 1.5 weeks, switching to Royal Purple was able to extend that to about every 2 to 2.5 weeks. I thought that was about as good as I was going to get, that is until I switched to Liqui Moly. I used the Liqui Moly Pro-Line Engine Flush to make sure I got as much of the previous oil out as possible, new Mahl filter and the 5-40 full synthetic Liqui Moly Motor Oil.Drove around town for a couple of days with out any spirited driving, just to make sure everything was properly lubricated. Made the drive from the South East city of Amberg to the city of Trier on the German/Luxembourg border, I took every opportunity to could to floor it and drive excess of 270kph. I made sure to check the oil every time I stopped, pleasantly my oil was still full and in great condition. The next day I went for 4 laps on the Nรผrburgring Nordschleife. I made sure to assess the tires, brakes and fluids before and after each lap, to my delight the oil was still clear and full. Even after the drive back to Amberg and back to the regular commuting, it has been nearly a month and i've only been about a half quart low.The switch was made at approximately 121,000 miles, I've since done about 2.5k miles on the car and have only needed to add 1 quart.

I don't use Anything Else
I have a 2007 Audi A4, and this is the only oil I have used for it since I bought it in 2020. My car is now climbing towards 250K miles, and this oil has never caused me any issues. I live in the Midwestern US, so I get warm summers and cold winters, and this oil is perfect for me all year round; it is not too thin that it feels nady during winter, nor too thick that it feels sluggish in the summer. I am not a big car guy, so I cannot speak for the actual oil contents or anything specific, but I do know that this oil is some of the best for my car in general. Because of that, I would say that the cost of the 5 liters is justified, especially because these cars are known for burning oil. Because I have used this oil exclusively, I cannot say for certain that it "helps" my fuel economy, but I will say that it definitely does not hurt it based on the car's specs. I will continue to buy this for as long as I have my car; I couldn't be happier with it.
