This part only lasted about 8 months only using my headphones when I mow my lawn, so really not for very many charges. Original review: This item fixed my issue where the headphones wouldn't take a charge. Before ordering this part I tried 3 different cords and 3 different chargers just to be sure. The red LED indicator for charging would only just flash maybe before going dark, or no LED at all. My headphones were giving a low battery indicator and after sitting on different chargers the battery level was the same... After installing this part the LED was lit and the headphones charged right up! I used my own tools, but besides the included pry tool and screwdriver you might want to have some tweezers handy to remove tape on the ribbon cable. There are some delicate looking wires in the headphones, but if you're halfway careful this is a very easy repair.
