Q: Whats the difference between this and a regular bissle carpet cleaner? Can I just put the dog shampoo in that to bathe my dog?

I would like to use my upright Bissell Model 1699 because in the instruction manual is specifically states the following: SmartTemp heats the cleaning solution for carpet and bare floor application only. It does not heat solution sprayed through the accessory tools. So, give this scenario will I be able to use it with the animal shampoo to clean my dog?
