Amazon Basics Insulated Paper Cup, 8 oz., 240-Count

I ordered these to use as bathroom cups (for use when brushing teeth, etc.) during the pandemic, not wanting to go to the store. Previously I was using Dixie cups or a generic equivalent. These are larger than the ones I was using, which is fine for my intended use. I'm impressed with the sturdiness, though. With the Dixie-type cups, I couldn't leave water sitting in them for more than a minute or two because water could escape the cup; my vanity actually absorbed a bit of it and is damaged as a result. These cups aren't doing that. I also tend to use the same cup for a while since I'm just using them to rinse out my mouth and maybe have a sip of water after, and these are lasting much longer. They're a little more expensive than I'd like but I'm otherwise very pleased.

Was a bit worried about ordering a generic cup, but it works even better than my more expensive ones. I use boiling hot water and haven't had any problems with burning my hands. There's actually a decent pocket of space in between the two layers. Easy to stamp my shop's logo on the cup as well. Very impressed and will buy again.

Paper is too thin (20 oz size) to support 18 oz of liquid unless you have lids because the sides collapse in. Maybe 12 oz cups or less it would hold open. Cup sides are also slick so you have to squeeze that much harder to keep it from slipping. Also, too much heat leaked through the single layer sides unless you use a zarf. To compare, I can hold super hot liquids in Di x ie Perfec Touch easily without the sleeve.

these cups are sturdy though i have yet to use them for hot beverages. a firm slow squeeze proves they are indeed double-walled. two things i wish to note:1) the stacks of these cups take up twice the room (height) as the dixie brand 16 oz cups i was regularly purchasing until they became too expensive. only six of these cups stacked can fit on my shelf as opposed to 12 of the dixie brand2)the plastic sleeves containing these cups are tied in a knot at one end. that means someone's grubby hands were tying them. it shatters my hopes of beautiful, pristine mechanically sealed bags and untouched uncontaminated cups upon which i place my precious mouth.

The media could not be loaded.  Trying to decide what paper cups to buy was a surprisingly difficult task! I searched amazon several times before deciding on these. They are exactly what I paid for. I am purchasing these for the espresso bar at my wedding reception and was worried about size, leaks, the sides caving in with hot liquid. These cups are the perfect size. They’re sturdy for paper cups. They handle very hot liquid well (though I would recommend and sleeve if you planned on drinking something notably hot—this hold coffee temps and even beyond very well.)Listen. If you need 8ounce paper cups for hot drinks. Just get these. I am very happy with these.

I was very pleased with my first order of these; they don't lose structural integrity when microwaved to heat liquids, and are insulated enough to hold hot liquids without burning your hands. But the price quadrupled overnight, so I'll have to cut off a star, as I no longer think they represent good value for the money.

I bought these instead of Dixie PerfecTouch which I usually buy. I’m very pleased with the Amazon Basics. They are a much better price and I are sturdier. Really hot coffee is slightly warm to touch for a few minutes but can easily be handled. These are smooth on the outside which is a plus because the Dixie cups have recently had a somewhat fuzzy feel which, after the cups have been stacked inside each other, gets into your drink. I will only use the Amazon Basics from now on.

I used a cup today! Not a very good cup I feel like it was a waste of money and now I am stuck with a bunch of cups . I made cream of wheat for my senior mom , I was waiting for the cream to cool off a little to give to her then when I picked the cup up all the cream came out from the bottom of the cup it just fell apart !

Very nice cups, they are well insulated for sure! Don’t waste on cold water though because they are pricey

Ordered for 1000count paper cups only received 500 of them. In 20 sleeves each containing 25 cups.
