Bob's Red Mill, Gluten Free Rice Flour, 1.5 lb

It doesn’t burn in the Dutch oven, keeps the dough from sticking to proofing baskets or parchment, and gives that beautiful contrast on scored designs after baking. I use this to sprinkle on my bannetons for sourdough loaves. Works well, helps prevent sticking. Does not burn in the oven.Note: This flour is grainy.

The rice flour is great for baking sourdough bread. It doesn’t affect the taste of the bread. I use a light layer on the outside of the loaf before scoring. This way my designs show through more dominantly. In the above photo you case see how it makes the bread really pop. The texture is soft and fine so it will not affect how your sourdough feels.

White Rice Flour, I purchased this to use on my banneton baskets to keep the Dough and the baskets from sticking together. Definitely recommend the Red Mill Brad. The White Rice Flour is very light. White in color. Recommend by may backers
