These fly swatters are okay, but they're pretty flimsy. The swatting part of the swatter is flexible enough that it will bend when killing flies, but usually after one or two uses, the swatter develops cracks and we eventually have to throw it away. I know I have a couple of hard hitters in my house (they really hate flies), so I'm sure that contributes. However I've noticed the ones you can buy for $1-2 at the grocery store tend to last longer, even with my hard-hitting family.
