Maud's Half Caff Medium Roast Coffee Pods, 100ct

I'd give them more stars if there were more. I started ordering Maud's when I got serious about cutting back on caffeine without cutting back on good coffee. Tried several options and Maud's it the hands down best. Obviously, K-cups are easy to use and the Maud's cups are also easy to empty for recycling. I love having great coffee that is available in half caffeine at a very reasonable price. I usually make coffee at home, and half caff can be an expense if you have to buy decaf and regular and mix them, but the caffeine in the Mauds half caff fits the bill and tastes great. I'm not someone who has a lot of trouble with coffee upsetting my stomach, so it isn't something I can comment on here except to say it's never bothered my stomach. Maud's also has above and beyond customer service. I noticed on my latest order that the tops of the cups came off easier ( serious +), but on some cups I was winding up with grounds left in my coffee. Not often enough to get upset, but enough to let the Maud's customer service know about it to follow up with their production. They got back to me right away and they are replacing my order. That's the kind of attention to customers that wins my loyalty every time

It is a smooth Rich coffee. It taste like coffee. It’s strong enough to make 10 ounces. Love the coffee. However, received the box from Amazon and it was crushed. But the pods were OK so I’m using them.

This is a bit better IMO than Folgers half-caf, or Green Mountain half-caf in K-cups in a 10 oz cup. It tastes a bit stronger than the other two, and a bit more like real coffee. I wonder if they mix the decaf with a darker roast than the other two. The fact that it is a tiny bit cheaper, is nice, but it's not enough to make overall cost a major decision point. For me, at least it is a flavor issue and I think it will make my late night coffee urges a bit more bearable.

I have been using this product, Maud's Half Caff as well as the decaf version for some time. I actually like the coffee, however the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. They just dump the pods loosely in a box, slap a shipping label on it and off it goes (usually late). When you open the box, it is full of coffee from broken pods and is a total mess. (see pics.) There will be a half dozen or so pods which have broken in shipping thus spilling coffee throughout the box. So now we have to rinse them off before they get stored in a clean container. This is totally unacceptable and I'm done with it. I've spent several hundred dollars with Maud's but sorry to say Maud, you've lost a good customer. We buy another brand of coffee from Green Mountain. It's a vanilla flavored decaf and 96 pods come neatly packed in four boxes, 24 pods in a box. And that's the container they're kept in in the closet by our coffee maker and dispensed from. I'm going to check and see if they or another company have a half caff I like.

I knew my coffee would be there at my door when I got up the morning after I ordered my Maud’s Half Caff coffee pods!! I didn’t realize I was out until I started setting up for my morning routine the night before . When I saw I didn’t have any of my good coffee I knew the next day would be horrible. I grabbed my phone and I ordered the best medium roast coffee I’ve ever had and I love coffee. I switched to half caffeine because I drank so much. I didn’t even notice the difference. This coffee isn’t bitter or have any after taste when you drink it. It’s smooth and delicious as good coffee should always be. Try it and you will be glad you did because Maud’s coffee is the best money can buy!

This 1/2 caff coffee is very good especially for the price. Typically drink Green Mountain Half Caff and it is way too expensive now at $17.00 for 10 pods. Maud’s is stronger than GM or Folgers 1/2 Caff which I like as I used to have to use the “strong” button on my Keurig. I just signed up for the subscription I like it so much and won’t have to go to the store for coffee every other week or more. UPDATE: The second order came and was wrong. It was 1/2 calf DARK ROAST. Do not recommend the dark roast at all, it was extremely bitter. Since I had a subscription, I did not have any k-cups in the house; cancelled subscription and off to the store. So disappointing.

After reading the reviews I decided to give Maud's half caff coffee a try. I found Maud's coffee to be a true medium roast, very smooth and rich without any bitterness. I made both an 8 ounce cup and a 10 ounce cup and was happy with the flavor and richness of each. With the k cups coming out to about 46 cents each they are a great value. I will definitely purchase again.

Love this coffee, it’s a smooth dark delicious coffee. It’s nice when you don’t want all the caffeine just a little. I highly recommend it’s been one of my new favourites for about six months!!

This coffee is the best!

This is classed as a medium roast and is very weak, tastes thin. While I do drink strong coffee such as Starbucks Verona my decaf has been McCafe. It's better than this. It's hot is about all I can say. I have never tried Maids before. Too bad you can't buy an assorted box of 6 as I know have 17 left.
