Basic IR Replacement Remote for TCL Android TV & TCL Google TV Without Voice Command

At first I couldn’t get the remote to work, so I searched YouTube looking for help and found a video “ same name as title if you want to look for it yourself “ with a quick and easy fix, if you remove the batteries and hold the power button for 15 seconds then add the batteries back to the remote it will immediately start working. The remote works perfect. I’m happy I didn’t give up. I love this remote better than the original, it’s has a mute button my original didn’t and the number key pad is user friendly plus it makes the remote bigger and harder to lose too win win!! Thank you so much love it!!

Got a TV out of our storage unit and couldn’t find the remote. Found this one for a reasonable price, and it works perfectly. No setup or anything required. Just point and click. Got this for a 55S434 model, for reference.

Purchased this remote for my brother, he lost his. Remote is exactly like what came with TV & works perfectly. Great price. Size is long , not sure how he lost it. Appearance shows everthing, very detailed.

We misplaced our TV remote, no luck finding it and the phone remote option is just not good enough. This remote works great, easy to pair with the tv, it is alas missing a mute button, but has select input button (which the actual remote did not have) so very happy to have that.

Worked great for about the first few months until it started turning the tv off and on, on its own. Now I'm out of the return window bummer....

I bought this for an older friend (72yo male roommate) who was having difficulties with the original remote that came with his TV. Basically, the manufacturers crammed too much into too little space, and he was continually inadvertently pressing unwanted buttons. Since replacing it with this one, he hasn't complained about it a single time. Would buy again. That it arrived two days before the estimate was an added bonus.

This is a much better-sized remote than what comes with the TV - the only thing that could be better is if it had a backlight. However, it works super well and paired right away by following instructions on the TV. Confirmed working on a TCL 55R646 television, likely works with any TCL Google TV.
