Game changer
I’ve become heat intolerant in my older age. Super unfortunate because I live in Deep South west Florida! Plus I live to garden every morning. Due to my heat intolerance I thought I was going to have to give up gardening. Then I found this and with a lot of hope I ordered. Man what a life saver! It’s good for about almost 2 hours in these high temps and humidity. I even wear it in the evening after the sun goes down to walk my dogs! So glad this product works so well!Great quality. Gets just a little heavy with all the ice packs at capacity. But I’m 61 and manage just fine.

Works great! Used different ice packs though
Wish the ice packs were better quality but the vest was perfect

Ice stays frozen a long time.
Vest is very adjustable and works here in the desert. It comes with these funky packets that you soak in the water. I’m pretty sure they’re not going to work and of course they expand and they work fabulously. Wearing the ice packs in 104° heat you can feel the cool and after an hour and a half they’re barely melted nice product.

Wish it was different color but it works in Texas!
I’m from Minnesota, had to come to Texas… it’s 95 here EVERY DARN DAY! Now the jacket is built decently. It’s strong… it looks dumb as hell but it works. I wish they would have made it orange or something atleast then you can claim to want to be seen… this is just weird. But the ice packs break they are cheap…. But the vest works

Cooling
I bought this on my drs recommendation. It keeps me cool when I’m outside and cools me down when I’m inside. It’s easy on with the ability to tighten or loosen to size. Once fixed to your size comfortably, it’s just a zip on and zip off vest. It comes with a little carry bag for the vest and includes gel ice pouches.

Too heavy and complicated
Heavy heavy and ice packs very hard to fill

Great Product! Great Value!
I bought this as a gift to a friend of mine who is an outdoor construction worker. He loves the product and keeps cool in this Texas heat.

So far, decent value
Developed a weird issue where when I start sweating during workouts causes my back to itch (thermally-induced pruritus). I use a spray bottle of ice water to wet my gym t-shirt, put this on over it, and continuing spraying "underneath" the vest as needed. So far, good control of itch. Also, works fine with my sit-on-top kayak in warmer weather. I wear the vest with the front packs and top back packs. The latter remain above the kayak's backrest, and none of them interfere with arm motions needed for the kayak paddle. (Don't want to chance rupturing the bottom back ice packs against the backrest.)Fit for me is fine, man 5'10", ~180lb. Might not work for large men, but I have plenty of "leftover" room on the Velcro portions, so would think it should fit taller, somewhat bigger folks fine. The seam for one of the ice-pack holders started separating, used some fabric glue, and it seems to be holding. Raises the issue of durability.Have on in gym for an hour, off for about an hour stretching (don't want to lie down with it on and risk rupturing ice packs), then on for another hour rowing. By the end of that, about 4 hours (1 hr of which is outside in direct sun and heat) have passed including travel time. The 4 ice packs in use are all melted but still cool. Plenty of packs are supplied; I filled 6 (enough for a full vest), keeping the rest in reserve for now. If you are going to be out longer, could keep 6 in the vest, 6 on reserve ....At this price point, it is hard to go too wrong.I wonder if the company has experimented with a reflective outer finish that would further reflect heat. The other bonus they could consider is including some fabric glue so once the shoulder straps are adjusted, the entire shoulder assembly can be glued together, assisting in easier transport.Filling the 6 packs, I did get a little air into the bags, and could not figure out how to get it out without potentially damaging the bags. Maybe in others' comments (which I will read after submitting this) someone has a method.
