Dark & Delightful
When Ari defends herself she winds up in so much trouble she has to seek out help in the darkest of places. Zayn, son of a mafia kingpin is helpless to refuse her request for sanctuary… but with a few beneficial clauses thrown in for himself. This is a tantalisingly good read. I couldn’t put it down and was drawn into the violent world and gripping pace of the book. This is a dark, violent and very spicy read so you will need to check your content/trigger warnings. (Sub/Dom, BDSM, Age Gap, Attempted SA, Murder, Age Gap)Zayn is without a doubt one of the most dominant MMC’s you’ll find in a dark romance and Ari is a perfectly matched sub to him, if a bit bratty at times. She’s brave and strong and she brings out a long buried side of Zayn. I thoroughly enjoyed reading as they and their relationship grew throughout the book. This book is in the same universe as her Four Horsemen Series and you will bump into some familiar characters if you have read the horsemen’s story.

weird and wonderful...
what can I say, that was rather saucy? Not always on my side of kinky, and I like my fiction on the darker and brutal side...but I can't fault Sarah's writing. The style, tone of voice, vocabulary—all of it!— speaks to my soul in ways that I can't describe very eloquently. The story arc and narrative is always well thought out, immersive and above all believable in its mad, mad darkness.I would recommend reading the author's note if at all unsure about the subject matter, as I'm quite sure some of the content won't be to everyone's taste. But my oh my, I can't wait to see and read more from this universe of interconnected stories. 🤓

Just ok (contains spoilers)
The book had the potential to be great however the essence of a dom/sub, daddy relationship got lost along the way. Having Arianna shout at him in public without serious repercussions was bizarre. Zayn falling at her feet and apologizing also felt inauthentic. Explaining himself maybe but lowering himself, doubtful. From my understanding these relationships whilst loving are never partnerships. The book also got too preachy with the subject of marriage. The ending also left a lot of loose ends. For instance, what was going to happen with the mafia business, what would be Gil’s position? As a aside, the idea that the mob would involve a 22 year old woman in the decision process and be ruled by respect without a good dose of fear, feels naive.

She's done it again
Where do I even start with Tyrant.Ari comes to Zayn after she kills a man, and makes a deal with him for protection. What happens next will have you firmly in a chokehold almost instantly and needing more. Sarah never fails to deliver on intense relationships but the relationship between Zayn and his Tink is another level. And the mouth on this man, everything he says (and I mean everything) is perfect. He is pure perfection, and firmly at the top of my book boyfriend list, I would do anything for Daddy Z.Ari is a seriously fiesta FMC, she doesn't hold back, speaks her mind and has no trouble putting anyone who needs it firmly I'm their place, I adore her. Please check trigger warnings before you read as always, but if you love a mean daddy with a soft side, and an FMC that doesn't take any shit then this is definitely the book for you.I can't wait for the rest of the Villetti Chronicles.

Loved it 😍
When Sarah writes a book, I’m first in line for a copy. Her strong women characters never shy away from the tasks they need to do, and the men are just perfect book boyfriends 😉Zayn is a mafia prince, and with that comes a heap of responsibility (owner of a sex club?)Arianna the daughter of a mobsterZayn and Arianna have known each other for a while, so when Arianna gets into a spot of bother, she turns to the one person who she knows will help without question. What she doesn’t bank on is the terms of his help! With this book like most of the others that the author has written we get a build up of the woman in the book, they aren’t weak and simpering flowers, most are strong individuals, the men in the books are protectors (alphas) but they value and nurture the women in their life. The chemistry just burnt my kindle to ash! But it’s more than that, I felt a connection with both the characters and with each other. The spicy scenes are hot and heavy, the kinks are out in full force (so I’d check the warnings first)I love the authors previous series and really like her work, so I eagerly downloaded this one.So it might not be the fairytale ending some people might have been hoping for, but it’s a HFN (happy for now)🦋

Yes, Daddy
I had to take a moment after finishing to compose myself enough to write this… Daddy Z and Tinkerbell are just *chefs kiss*Unconventional, but I love how he doesn’t change for her and how she doesn’t cower to him when it matters. She is truly his and that they will do anything for each otherI love how Sarah Bailey’s female characters are fierce, confident and not afraid to do what it takes to protect or support their man(or men)Are my standards too high wanting to find a man who is willing to burn the world for me?

Dark & Delicious
I loved this book everything about it draws you in the plot, the kink, the spice and the side characters. If you can go in blind please do just don't be surprised if you unlock a new kink!!Arianna was bold, blunt and fiesty - the best possible FMC. Zayn is calm and controlled in all walks of life. I loved watching the story develop and walls come crumbling down.Sarah sure knows how to write a dark romance so very well. Can't wait for more of the Villetti Chronicles.

Sarah is a goddess
My first contact with Sarah's work was through the Four Horsemen Series (that I fricking loved it). So I was very excited to read Tyrant and dammmn! What a book. I loved it from the beginning till the end.I wasn't expect the ddlg to be so lovely and sweet, but it was and it grounded thought the darkest parts.I loved to follow Zayn's journey to deal with his demons and how badass Ari were in her journey finding love withing him.

They will burn it all..
Sarah Bailey has done it again! Giving us a deliciously dark mafia romance with a side of daddy kink!Zayn & Arianna (Daddy Zayn & Tinkerbell) come together when she runs to him for help. He doesn't do things for free so she must decide if his offer for payment is worth it.Zayn wears a mask to all those he does business with but with his Tinkerbell he is nothing but a provider and a protector. Tinkerbell is a fiery sassy mouthy brat who has her heart set on Zayn. Their is nothing these two won't do for each other to keep them safe, and this is put to the test. It's a fabulous intense story and we'll worth the read.

Nice
This was a solid Mafia story, nice and gritty. Didn't care for the saliva fun (personal preference) but the rest was on point. I liked that Ari wasn't a ditsy 22-year-old, she's a fully formed adult with boundaries, emotional intelligence, and a solid serving of courage. I liked that Zayn had a code of honor that he took seriously and throughout his character development he stayed true to his personal values (no magical hoo-ha causing our man to suddenly crave marriage after a lifetime of conditioning to reject the institution). Mostly I enjoyed that the dynamic here seemed like a healthy Dom/sub relationship with appropriate aftercare; most books miss that part.
