Addictive
Wasn't sure about this, but decided to try it out. It's a lot of money for a bit of rope, but it's very good quality, and nicely finished. Also doesn't seem to tangle up, so much better than using some random piece of rope. Lots of free tutorials on YouTube to get going. Surpringly tiring using the heavier rope - about 5 minutes and I'm feeling the effort. The skills can be challenging, but it's an addictive experience. Overall, I can see this being an exercise routine I'll stick with, and it's easy to take with you if you're away.

This is the very best flowrope!
I already own the Flowzilla [beige, and slightly stiffer than this one] and the Funky Zen [purple and flexible but much lighter] and I can say without question that the Phoenix [red and flexible] is the very best one. The Octomoves App is very informative and useful and I enjoy rope 'flowing' every single day. I think everyone should use an 'Octomoves Flow Rope!

Overpriced
I thought that when you pay £60 it comes with free course as part of the cost. But this beginner course is for everyone and you can watch it on the site for free. It contains 3 levels and after that if you want to continue improving your skills you have to buy another course for £30-50. So you pay £60 only for a rope. Yes, the quality is amazing but anyway it's extremely expensive for a rope!! The price for this shouldn't be more than £25 in my opinion. Also i didn't like most of videos in the course. I understand that people who made this are professionals but for beginners like me it was too fast, too difficult to repeat exercises. For me there is not enough slow motions and videos from the back. Yes, this is very good for mobility and for reducing back pain but obviously not for this price.

Love it
was a little sceptical at first but after watching the octomove instructions on YouTube I find it's not a difficult as it looks, just take it slow, my shoulders feel less tight and it definitely has a meditative feel when using the rope

Addictive, meditative and very fun
I was intrigued by this and after a quick look at rope flow online decided to give it a try. It's hard to explain, as it's essentially swinging a rope rhythmically around your body, but it is one of the most enjoyable workouts I've ever done. I regularly do yoga and running, but rope flow has quickly become a daily habit. Learning a few basic moves took perhaps ten minutes, but looking at some pro videos it's clear that there are some real complexities here for those willing to invest time into practice. I tend to do twenty minute sessions, and it really opens up the shoulders and back, while also giving a 'toning' feel on the arms (rather than a weights/building feel.) I have suffered from a lower back ache for some time now, which has certainly slowed my yoga practice, but rope flow feels very low impact and hasn't been an issue. Once you get into a rhythm with a move that you're comfortable with there is a very real sense of flow state if you allow it. Alternatively it can be practiced mindfully, with every movement and experienced consciously. Whichever way you do it, it is very fun once it clicks. In terms of the rope itself (I use "Phoenix", the heavier red one), it feels great in the hand and has a pleasant weight to it. The material quality is good, and the ends have a branded metal tip. Weighing in at 500g it does offer some resistance in the air (as well as a pleasing swooping sound on certain moves) and you can feel it working muscles. After just one session it was clear that the quality of the rope is important, and I can imagine it would feel a lot different with a lighter or thinner alternative rope. So yes it's a rope, but it's also perfectly developed for this exercise. So glad I found this. I can feel the benefits already.

Amazing work out guaranteed
If your reading this then you you have knowledge of flow ropes and why the rrp is what it is. Plenty of videos on you tube on how to use these ropes but as a extra the manufacturer of these flow ropes have included video tutorials from easy/medium/hard. Do watch the videos 1st before using your rope so you get the best experience of this. Excellent quality, as a 1st time flow roper i found the videos easy to follow and was very impressed with the not only the quaity of the materials used in this rope but the beenfits of usinf a flow rope. You can feel the quality just by taking these straight out the box, I like the fact you have 3 levels of weight distinguished by the different colours so do read the product info in the box where it shows the weight of each rope and what category they fall into. I have the green rope which is medium weight which is perfect for me and it really does give my upper body a great workout.
