Toe Tubes

Overall the sleeves preform pretty well for their intended use. I have tried a few methods to cushion and stablize a toe which is still tender and painful year after two surgeries. I bought the sleeves as an alternative when I want some protection without a full stabilizer. For this it works very well. I've had growing paing with learning the best way to get the sleeve on without causing some additional pain but once on it's very comfortable. The sleeve doesn't quite have the stretch I was hoping for. It does however fit without feeling too tight at all and the cushion provided by the inner gel layer is perfect, outer fabric feels soft against my other toes and relieves chafing I would experience otherwise. I haven't tested it with heavy walking or exercise inside shoes yet but haven't noticed my skin feeling too hot or moist from sweat. I've even been able to leave it on through a quick bath when I was tired without issue. I mentioned in the title that the sleeve isn't my favorite, that strictly comes down to the struggle I have with putting it on and that personally I need most support most times. Neither reason are things I would count against the product. Strictly for cushion and protection the sleeves are great, I only wish they stretched a little more to lessen the pressure when initially putting it on.

These toe protectors are fantastic! They are high quality. They’re soft and thick enough to protect your painful toe or toes. I purchased a similar item from my foot doctor and these are way better. Also, being able to cut them to size is exactly what I was looking for. Plus, the package contains a good amount of sleeves to hold you over for a while. Each piece lasts a long time and have helped me immensely. A bit of advice, sometimes it helps to put these on the two toes surrounding the sore toe. Hope this helps. Great product!!!

These X-Large Chiroplax Toe Tubes provide great protection for hammertoes! The X-Large size is just the right width for big toes. The tubes are 6 inches long and can easily be cut down to the correct length to fit your toes. For example, if your big toe measures 2 inches the tube sleeve can be cut into thirds. The product is available in smaller sizes for smaller toes. The inside of the tubes are made from a slightly sticky latex-free clear gel while the outside is a beige colored fabric which enhances their durability. They are thick enough to provide padding for your toes without significantly crowding your feet in your shoes. I just received the product today and I can already notice some pain relief! I'm disappointed that, on day 2, I have developed an allergic reaction to the gel material causing my toe to become red and hot! I can no longer wear the toe tubes so I have wasted my money on a product that I can't use! I had originally given Chiroplax Toe Tubes Sleeves Protectors a 5 star rating but I am downgrading to 3 stars!

(See update below) "FINAL UPDATE"... Received the Small size toe tubes over the weekend and they are wonderful!!! Arrived earlier than expected. Great product and a wonderful company. They truly take customer service/customer care to a new level. INITIAL REVIEW: This looked like a great product at a good price, however the sizing was off. The orthopedic surgeon recommended I wear "toe socks" and gave me samples of Silipos toesocks to use. I measured the unworn unstreatched sample tubes, flattening them as described and found them to be 3/4" diameter. By this product's description, that would be their Medium size. I ordered, then returned the first package as it was obviously larger than that. I measured and found it was 1". That appeared to be the size of the Large so I figured I was sent the incorrect size. I could not find a size on the packaging (it was covered by a sticker) so I returned it and then promptly reordered another Medium package. The second package arrived today...same issue, however this package is marked as Medium. It too measures 1" which is still larger than the 3/4" it is supposed to be. I'm afraid to try ordering the small size (1/2")... it might actually be that small. Guess these will be returned too and I'll be looking for another brand. It's really unfortunate, as these looked to be a very nice quality from what I could tell by looking thru the clear window of the package. UPDATE. Chiroplax reached out to me and explained how to correctly measure for their product (round, not flattened as I had been told by the dr office staff). With that new information, it appears that their small size may be a better fit and closer to the samples I had been given. They contacted me a second time and are helping me to find the best fit. All of this occurred within less than 12 hrs of receiving the order and starting the return process! What amazing and unparalleled customer care! I used to work in both the health care field as well as for a health insurance carrier...you just dont find that kind of dedication or concern these days. Thank you so much Chiroplax!

I have terrible hammer toes next to my big toes. Wearing work boots all day long makes them hurt real bad. I alsoo have planters fasciitis in my left foot. I average walking about 11 miles a day at work. My podiatrist sold me some gel toe protectors. They worked fine, but were expensive. I was looking for cheaper ones, and found them on amazon. The chiroplax gel toe protectors work just as well as the ones I got from my podiatrist, and are way less costly. They have taken away the pain from my toes rubbing on the steel toe part of my work boot. I wouod recommend these t anyone with toe pain. The are a good quality product. Do not use petroleum jelly with them, as it breaks the gel down. The ends of my toes always hurt , too, as my second toe is way longer than my first toe. I found chiroplax has a better product for the whole toe. The TPE gel toe cap..This product is what I now use on both second toes...I have been wearing these for over a month now, and they show no signs of breaking down..I wish I would have known about these toe covers years ago. For the price and the quality of these products, you can't go wrong. The toe caps are a snug fit and hold the toe really well. I wet the toe cover and my toe before sliding the cover into place..Works great. .thank you chiroplax for helping my toes.

Provided instant relief for the person they were purchased for .. you can cut them easily to any length with scissors .. sissors can easily give them a slight pre fit stretch, by placing the sleeve over the outside of the sicssor's blades and pulling open the sides of handles .. do not over due it .. the medium should fit an adult's middle toes .. small for youth and pinky, with large for the big toe ( average folks ) .. I added a length of waxed thread on two sides to aid in pulling the sleeve into position as the person using them wanted a tight fit. ( less pre fit stretching ) Threads inside a sock were not an issue .. Held up very well for the enviroment they were kept in .. can't see where wearing them in the shower would assist with longevity .. the strings ( modified ..see above ) aided in removal and re use . Recommended

My sad toes are happy for this product and they feel good. I think _maybe_ a stiffer option would help reverse the curly, but maybe not. But honestly this is the best product I have tried to make my toes feel really nice. And you can customize them, wear them with shoes (not all sleeves at once).

I have such a bad hammer toe I was to the point that any shoe wear (other than flip-flops) caused me terrible pain. There is a huge callous on my second toe that rubs constantly. I have tried toe separators, buddy-taping, and silicon caps and each had their flaws that kept them from being a solution. Honestly I was thinking toe amputation. I found these and decided to give them a try. FINALLY! A solution to my problem. It fits snug but not too snug, is comfortable with shoes, and stops the rubbing on shoes. I couldn’t be happier!

Based on your sizing system, I really did measure the width of my toe, and I ordered small for one toe that is causing me pain, due to a bunion (toe next to my big toe). I cut a piece off to wear yesterday for the first time and found it tight to pull on, but thought it felt fine once on. After a period of time, my toe began to throb and I realised the piece must be too tight, cutting off circulation in my toe. I removed it and within a few minutes pain was gone. I'm disappointed and now wish I ordered size M. Assume I cannot send back and get size M? Please let me know.

great that it can be cut to the exact length stays on quite well. gives good protection for a sore toe but i do use KT tape underneath for extra protection
