Keeps My 5900X In Check & Is Silent Too
I've been a fan of Noctua for over a decade, and I've had an NH-D14, an NH-D9L and now an NH-D12L. I've also got NF-P12 case fans that I've had for over a decade and they're still going strong.I was a bit dubious about this one because when my NF-P12's are running at 100% I can just about hear them, and that's at 1300 RPM. So when I looked at this and found out it ran at 2000 RPM when under load, I thought it might be a bit noisy and I may have to adjust the fan curve in the BIOS, because having a silent or near silent PC is very important to me.I should have known really, it's Noctua. This cooler runs silent at 2000 RPM and keeps my 5900X well in check. I have my 5900X undervolted using the curve optimizer with a setting of -17. I also set the thermal throttle limit to 74C, because I'm not having it that 90C for this CPU is fine, no matter what AMD say.For core heavy workloads I get around 4.3GHz all core which is what a 5900X should do, and in gaming where only a few cores are used, it fluctuates somewhere between 4.8GHz and 4.95GHz, which again is what a 5900X should do.All this with the CPU not exceeding 75C and the PC being silent. The only downside is cost, you pay for Noctua, but you are paying for quality engineering that applies to both the heatsink and the fan. It's just like buying an Aston Martin, you know you are going to pay for it, but you also know you are getting a top quality product.I don't mind paying for Noctua products, but Noctua prices aren't everybody's cup of tea.Noctua customer service is top notch as well. For example, in 2021 I'd had my NH-D14 for a decade and wanted to use it on my 5900X. Noctua sent me the AM4 mounting kit for free. So I could use my NH-D14 on my new rig, which I have done until now. The NH-D14 is quite cumbersome though and I'm glad I replaced it with this. I can now access the first M.2 slot without removing the cooler, and my GPU is now a lot easier to remove when I want to clean it. This NH-D12L also outperforms the NH-D14 and is silent under load, whereas the NH-D14 is quiet under load but not silent.

Amazing product
Absolutely what I was looking for!I have only recently dipped my toes into PC's, hence the rather basic build pictured. However I've started my upgrades with this CPU cooler.Fitting it took me a while, but that was down to me being inexperienced. However I had no trouble following the instructions to fit this. The only issue I had was fitting the motherboard back in after fitting the cooler fully, that's because of my case layout though not the fault of the cooler, and it was as simple as removing the fan from the backplate mount, fitting the board into the case and screwing the cooler back in.Noise-wise it's incredibly quiet, much better than the stock intel fan I had installed before, and the temperatures for my CPU and even my GPU are noticeably much lower when under load now! I have already seen a pretty good improvement in performance when running games or multiple programs, and I haven't even upgraded my GPU or CPU yet.Safe to say, this was an excellent and well-needed purchase. The quality is well worth the price for me.

Ginormous cooler
I bought this cooler based on reviews and noctua’s really helpful website (it’ll tell you what coolers fit in your pc based on what case you have and motherboard)I also got the second fan for it as this was highly recommended (if it fits, which it did, very snuggly)I’m using it to cool an I7 9700k on a Gigabyte Z390M motherboard sat in a Corsair 280X case and it works a treat, got my cpu temperature down 15 -20 degrees over my old cooler. The quality is outstanding, packaging is very neat and instructions really clear and easy to follow, proper pleased with this, amazing product. As always Amazon’s service was easy to use and reliable.

Premium cooler, my CPU can finally work properly
I bought this cooler to replace the one my prebuilt PC came with. I have a 12700 that would reach 87C even under 35-40% usage, it wouldn't turbo boost properly and ecores were disabled. This D12L fit perfectly in my Micro ATX case Inwin 301c, leaving plenty of space for the RAM as well. Thanks to the Secufirm2 mounting was a breeze, there is no room for error and there's no plastic to peel off!! My CPU passed all benchmarks now at flying speeds, highest temperature it reached under turbo boost was 51C and the Cinebench RN23 score increased from 13k to almost 21k. Amazing what good cooling can do.

AMD 5 CPU cooler
AMD 5 CPU cooler kit comes with the 7mm off set kit to allow better/correct cooling of the new AMD 5 chips, quite and keeps my processor cool, well made, a really good fan and low profile for my server case. I can only use 1 fan which is enough due to motherboard, DDR memory and case height. Really impressive.

Lightweight with extreme performance
200W CPU dissipated without problems, extreme efficiency! The fan is a bit noisy at max speed of 2000 RPMs, or at least it’s the only one I can hear, but it’s probably due to the vicinity of metal parts. It doesn’t bother me thanks to my silent case.
