I am surprised how well this works for my anxiety and enhancing my overall mood. I have tried many different remedies for anxiety and this takes the cake. It takes the elephant off my chest so I can breathe again. It calms my mind almost instantly. I hold it under my tongue for 30 seconds or so and then drink water right after. Tastes like raisins - like a runny, sweet syrup made of raisins. I don’t mind the strange taste.

I purchased my first bottle about two weeks ago and purchased my second yesterday. The tincture tastes pretty good compared to how skullcap *can* taste; however, taste is never a factor for me, this isn't food, it's medicine. I have no idea why tastes matters for people when they're purchasing tinctures. The first time I tried it, I noticed it right behind my eyes and in the head. If I had to guess, this was made with dry material. With that said, it didn't make me feel foggy at all (which can happen when you don't use fresh skullcap). I use skullcap for social anxiety, and for times when I feel like I want to crawl out of my body to avoid people or situations. Skullcap makes me feel like I have a warm helmet on my head, and I feel settled into my body and ready to interact from a place of authenticity. This brand gets the job done with one dropperful. Edit: I didn't realize that a glycerine extract is different than an alcohol extraction via the constituents it pulls out. It definitely feels different, and I think I like this better than the alcohol extract. Something to keep in mind if you're working with skullcap. A person who doesn't listen very carefully to The way The herb speaks through their body might not notice. Your mileage may vary. The price is okay, it'd be better if they had a 4 oz option for 20 bucks :)But besides that, I like this brand more than the others offered here on Amazon. UPDATE: the bottle is extremely sharp on the bottom edge of the dropper lid where it closes. I’ve cut my hand twice, once last summer and again today. It was after I opened the packaging both times. Once closed it’s hard to open sometimes due to the sticky liquid (understandable). I squeezed the bottled top to open it and really cut my thumb good. They need to soften that edge. I’ve used all kinds of tincture bottles for 15 years. I’ve never cut myself before.

Too much sweetener in it--it makes it thick like syrup.

This stuff worked wonders for me. Learned about it through Tara Mackey's book called "cured by nature". I was having panic attacks round the clock and some mild depression. The first day I took just three drops of this stuff I was able to get out of bed and was able to control my anxiety. Then I started to take the 1ml dropper in my water a couple of hours later and I had the best day ever in a long long time. This might not be for you but the only way to find out is if you try it. ALSO: It helps with getting your appetite back and you literally sleep the entire night without waking up groggy. I'm never going to stop taking skullcap. Thank you, thank you to this company for creating such a great product. (Purchased 3 bottles) also if you don't like the taste which just tastes like a plant to me, drop it in your favorite tea or juice.
