Good quality, extremely comfortable bassy headphones.
I have mixed feelings about these headphones. I'd give them 3.75 stars if that were an option. I rounded up to 4 stars.Pros:• They fit my ears perfectly.• Multiple sizes of nibs, and includes some that are more sound-isolating than typical• Nibs and speakers don't get clogged with ear wax like some do• Comfortable• High-quality wire• Good cord length• Overall build quality• Remote buttons are awesome.Cons:• L-shaped mini RCA plug (ugh!)• Sound quality not as good as expected, but good• Build quality of the mic?The biggest issue I have with these is the L-shaped mini RCA jack. For some people, this may actually be a positive. But I HATE it. None of the product images indicated this was the case, and if it had, I probably would not have purchased these. I bought them for use with my iPhone, listening to music and audiobooks (usually for long periods of time). Whenever I'm listening to something, and I need to get the phone out of my pocket, that darned L-shaped plug gets caught in my pocket. It's just annoying. I think it may actually be a stronger connection and less prone to breaking. But for my use, I have to put my phone in my pocket bottom down (plug to the bottom) and that shortens the cord by a few inches. On the sound quality: I'm not an audiophile, but I'm more particular than the average user. I like a very well balanced blend of treble and bass. These are definitely on the bass-heavy side. I get used to it, but it's pretty clear and a little unpleasant at first. I suspect this will be a big "plus" for most people. In comparison to: I've had 4 pairs of Apple's in-ear headphones (NOT the earbuds) and those have well-balanced sound, but the white cords get dirty, the rubber dries and cracks very quickly. They only last a year, max. (hence me looking in a different direction). The other problem with those is it's harder to get them positioned so you get the full impact of the bass. And they very quickly get ear wax in the very small opening which stops the sound. Sometimes it gets all the way to the grating that covers the speaker opening itself. I have a pair of Shure E2c's which also have an L-shaped miniRCA connector, but the E2c's cord is significantly shorter and makes them literally unusable with the phone in my pocket. The sound quality of the E2c's is a little more balanced but less volume output and maybe a little "distant" sounding. The nibs on the E2c's are much less comfortable. My specific pair of RHA MA600i's had another issue:The mic/remote assembly, which functions GREAT, wasn't glued together properly. As I was listening to the iPhone with it in my pocket, I looked down and saw that it was actually coming apart. The wires going from the cord to the separate buttons were exposed as one of the black plastic end-caps came out of the metal tube. I superglued it in place. Hopefully that will be a permanent fix.Aesthetics: They look and feel great. These are easily the most comfortable in-ears I've owned (more comfortable than my Shure E2c's)

Great Bassy Earphones; Fragile Mic Assembly; Great RHA Customer Service!
So I got these earphones primarily for the following reasons:1. I was looking for a good looking pair of earphones WITH a mic and remote (I love that functionality).2. These fit well in my budget. And they deliver on all the important fronts.SOUND QUALITYI am not an audiophile but these headphones sounded pretty good to me. They feel like high-end headphones the way they seal around the ears and immerse you in the sound. Noise Isolation actually works. They are, however, a little bass-heavy and on high-volumes the bass obscures some of the finer notes in the music. But overall, sound-quality is definitely an A-; A if you like lots of bass.BUILD QUALITYThis is where I was let down. They look great and feel great, but the pair I got encountered several problems:1. The double flange eartips, the ones that fit best for me, were so loose (not in my ear, but the way they fit on the earphone) that they popped out and fell when I took my headphones out of my pocket/backpack.2. As someone else mentioned, the mic assembly looks and feels great but isn't built well. After 15 days, the volume + button stopped working intermittently and shortly thereafter the pause button followed. The mic stopped working altogether. This distressed me because I had bought them primarily for this function.3. The silicone eartips feel comfortable but slide out of my ears a bit too readily; but the double-flange solve that problem. However, as I mentioned, they don't fit very securely on the earphone itself. This was very irritating and kind of spoilt my great experience with them. To rectify this situation, I contacted RHA, and this is where I was most pleasantly surprised...CUSTOMER SERVICEA+. I haven't had better Customer Service with any of the brands I have purchased before. I went on RHA's website, filled in a CS form and the next day I was contacted by a representative asking about the problem. A couple of days later, after I had emailed them my proof of purchase, I got confirmation of my replacement headphones having shipped. All this with minimum fuss and absolutely no annoyance. I just got the new pair today, but not just the pair. RHA were good enough to send me the entire package, accessories and all, no questions asked. The earphones sound great, and hopefully I won't run into the same problem again.Props to RHA for giving me a seamless product replacement experience. So, final verdict: buy these earphones if you are looking for a decent-sounding, bassy, good-looking set of earphones for a sub-100 price tag. The build quality might not be all its made out to be (like the aircraft-grade aluminium sounds good and looks good, but is useless if the plastic fails) but hopefully the problems I had were a one-time thing. I will update if I encounter them again.

Stiff wire makes earphone buds fall out easily.
I feel a bit bad writing this review as it's possibly a tad harsh but I know that RHA pay attention to feedback as the previous model of these earphones used to have a fabric braided cable which people complained about and RHA changed the design to the cable wire on this version.Problem with this newer design is the wire is so rigid and stiff that any movement just causes the wire to lever against things like shirt collar etc and it causes the earbud to endlessly pop out of my ear. I just cannot use these earphones at all will doing anything that involves movement. So no gym or even walking about town is possible with these. The cable is so stiff that I can hold it about 4-5 inches down from the earbud and the wire stays mostly straight, unsupported by anything other than its own rigidity. The earphones therefore end up just not being fit for purpose honestly.Credit where it's due, I applaud RHA listening to feedback and trying to apply a solution. This one didn't work out for me sadly. It's even more disappointing because the sound quality is very good and the price is fair. If a further model is released with a more flexible wire then I'll gladly buy it, but for the time being these won't be used.I should add I've only given one star because the somewhat small issue rendered these completely unusable. Unusable being fairly critical of course. Sound quality I'd rate 4/5 stars. I just want a simple wire like you get on £0.99 aeroplane earphones.

Bargain!
Two points to start with:First of all I got these for the bargain price of £20 via Amazon Warehouse. They were only missing the cable clip.Secondly after contacting RHA a cable clip arrived with me next day. So a big thanks to them for such great service.Onto the earphones. My current favourites are Soundmagic E80 with Spinfit tips, a slightly more expensive option than the full price RHA but without the sometimes glass like treble which can be painful listening.I like the build quality, the case and metal bud clip. I like the rhythm of the 600s and the bass is nice although a little wooly. The soundstage seems smaller than the E80 too. Having said that if I compare them to the E50 which is probably a fairer match they win for me, offering a far more engaging sound.I've had no issue so far with cable stiffness, but am still trying to find the right tip. Even with Spinfits they still fall out and complys just kill the sound. I've yet to work through the supplied tips so that may provide a solution.Overall I'm happy and based on price they're certainly worth four stars. It's just a shame about the occasional sibilance.EDITHaving now been properly run-in and the correct tips identified (the Spinfits were returned) I'm really pleased with the sound. Compared to the Rockjaw Alpha Genus they have a much bigger, more detailed sound. They're not as comfortable as the Rockjaws and there's still the occasional sting from the treble, but for the price these are very minor niggles.

Great sound and functionality, let down by persistent durability issues
Considering the limitations of in-ear designs and the accessible price, the MA600i's sound quality is excellent. There's great detail and crispness in the higher frequencies, while the lows are authoritative and satisfying without sounding coloured. Overall the sound is balanced and relatively neutral, without being flat and boring. The microphone and remote work well and both have functioned just fine with my iPhone 6 and various MacBook Pros and iMacs.Build quality is good – they're almost entirely aluminium, no nasty plastic – and they're provided with a nice zip-up carry case with a punched metal card holding various sizes of silicone ear tips. However I do find the cable annoyingly stiff and prone to tangles. I feel a fabric covering or a flat "ribbon" design would be an improvement.A related issue is repeated failure of the joint where the cable enters the in-line remote/microphone. Thanks to RHA's 3 year warranty and excellent customer service, I've twice had this issue resolved with a brand new set of headphones. But, as good as that is, I'd prefer for them not to fail in the first place. While it is a common flaw in this type of design, the MA600i has basically no stress relief on the joint and, consequently, I feel like it fails rather more often and more quickly than it otherwise might.Cable issues aside, for me the bottom line is these sound much better than similarly priced competition from the likes of Sennheiser. With nice extras, solid build and a superb warranty, they're pretty much unbeatable value.

A worthwhile upgrade over the cheaper alternatives
I bought these as a replacement for some Sennheiser CX300s. I didn't wanted to get a similar style of earphone without having to loop them over my hear or make them more of a hassle to put on.I'm genuinely impressed with the sound quality. The range of the audio seems much improved, and when comparing with the CX300, the mid range has much more clarity (it's noticeably mushy on the CX300 compared to these), while the bass is strong, it's not too powerful (which is an issue with some headphones, especially some Bose in ears I had a few years ago).Build quality seems excellent, the cables are far stronger than the cheaply made CX300 and there are lots of ear adapters - though the ones that came pre-fitted seem to work best for me. Time will tell if they'll last, but given I use them mostly while sat by a desk or on a train/plane, they're not very likely to get snagged or pulled so much,

Excellent sound
I bought these to be given at Christmas after reading the reviews on external sites. I was looking at Sennheiser or ajay's to begin with and came across someone mentioning not as good as the RHA 600.And I am glad I did - I'm no audiophile, but I appreciate good quality sound, these are awesome. The bass whilst not as heavy as previous headphones is deep (and I do like bass) and works well with the mid and the treble - I also downloaded various graphic equalisers to give it extra oomph. The sound is excellently balanced and I will be definitley sticking with RHAs in the future.Compared to other earbuds I have these are slightly on the quieter side, but as mentioned above the sound quality more than makes up for this. The only issue I have must be my ears, as I tried all the earbuds except the double flanges earbuds and could not make them stay in. Then i found the comply TX 200 earbuds, no they aren't cheap, but now I have the most amazing audio sound and they do not fall out, and I can drown out most background noise whilst commuting to work - luxuryWell worth the money considereing they come with a 3 year guarantee - which was the clincher. Also, I forgot to mention is the comfort of these earphones with the above mentioned foam buds, I can have them in while working away and would not know they are there after several hours if it wasn't for the music coming through them
