A: I have a gen 3 in a 26 model Glock and mine fit just fine. Hope that helps.

A: NO, they can not be generic, only applicable GLOCK model 26/27/33/39

**Q: Will the GVN grip fit the magazine for my glock 26 gen 2.5? (the glock 26 gen 2.5 does not have raised surface on the finger grooves)**
A: It should fit. The magazines within a model are pretty much interchangeable, with differences being things like metal linings to prevent bulging or magazine release cutouts. The baseplates haven't changed though in any way thay would affect fit. It might look funny but that's a different concern.

**Q: Will this or any grip/magazine extensions fit s ruger security 9?**
A: This grip extension only fits glocks 26/27/33/39.  I do not know if there are extensions for the security 9.
