The common 3" tablets found at pool supplies are the wrong chemical and should not be used in aerobic treatment systems. ## Customer Reviews ### โญ WORST EVER CL2 TABLETS *by D***E on Reviewed in the United States on 25 September 2021* First, let me just say that I found by trying this product that there's a HUGE difference in chlorine tablets for your septic system. These tabs are WORTHLESS! I thought I'd try them as the price point was better than those I usually buy from the big box store. DON'T DO IT! There's a reason these are so cheap. These CL2 tablets do not disolve evenly and whatever the base is (used to press and form them into discs) are made from turned into a paste and severely clogged the injection pipe. Secondly, our system began to smell horribly a few days after dropping them in. A quick check with the chlorine residual meter shown absolute "0" ppm of CL2 in the gray water tank. They smell like chlorine when you open the tub, but there is apparently only enough to do so. STAY AWAY, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! ### โญโญโญ Seems to work, but are small and dissolve fast *by A***L on Reviewed in the United States on 7 October 2020* Regarding size these will flip sideways and cake up in many septic feeding tubes. So you have to check occasionally to make sure you didn't add say 6 and the bottom 2 dissolved and the rest are stuck where you have to knock them down. I don't quite understand the high rating after going through 3 batches of these. Perhaps it depends on the system and many people just add one or two at a time every week. We drop 1 in on the 1st and 15th of each month. Easy to remember since that is when we get paid. Immediately cleans the water so the smell dissipates instantly..
