We had such a massive slug problem that we had to bring in the pellets - they'd beaten every single repellant we tried, including copper tape, wire and wool pellets. But these did seem to work and we hope they didn't harm anything else.

Great that this product breaks down into iron and phosphates in the soil, instead of poisons. Just what I have been looking for. Just have to remember not to let birds/animals get at it. Put it under planks, where the slugs like to hang out, and so far this year I still have my runner beans!

Does what it says on the pot

It doesn't kill the snails or slags, only stops them from passing. The problem was that the slags were hidden in the soil, so maybe next year I'll just dig gently around the buds and add some of this product and then put the soil back. It isn't toxic but it molded after the rain

The product works very well but the way it dispenses was a little bit hit and miss but the pellets work, my slugs and snails do not like it at all.
