OK I have about 20+ pipes. From expensive name brand imported briars, to $4 cobs and everything in between. I have about 10 that were in my every day rotation. I smoke a lot! Mainly aromatic tobaccos, all day every day. It's not a hobby, I'm not a collector, I'm a smoker. I have a lot of pipes, cause I smoke a lot.For this pipe, I didn't buy it to smoke it. I was hoping the stem would fit a more expensive pipe with a broken stem. And I wanted a cheap reamer. So the pipe, the bags, everything else was a bonus.Now a month later... it is my go to pipe! It's not my favorite pipe. The stem is too thick and it weights too much, with less bend then I like. All of which makes it hard to clench. However it makes my favorite tobacco (Lane Limited BCA Black Cavendish) taste better then it does in any other pipe! By a lot! BCA is my all day every day tobacco, but I have about 10+ other blends that I will smoke randomly. They all taste good in this pipe, some smoke better in other pipes (for example maple walnut blend taste better in a briar. Black raspberry taste better in a cob) but regardless, this pipe can smoke anything without disappointment.So bottom line, if you don't mind the weight and size, it will likely be your favorite pipe. If you're like me, and those things are an issue.. you still may love this pipe! I really wish I could find a different stem for this one to make it more comfortable now.Hope this helps!

Switched from cigarettes to a pipe. This was the perfect pipe set to get me started, has everything you need. You will quickly need to order more screens, filters, and pipe cleaners though, but Scotte sells all of those at a very low price. You might want to consider ordering extra screens, filters, and pipe cleaners when you place an order for this pipe set, just food for thought. What is included in the kit will last you about a week.

I got the set and I have to say it is a great starter kit for anyone looking to get into pipe tobacco. The solid wood pipe feels nice and has a good weight to it. It comes with a bunch of accessories which is super convenient. The pipe pouch is a nice touch and keeps everything organized.One of the best features is how easy it is to disassemble for cleaning. Just make sure to let it cool down completely before you take it apart. After cleaning it, I let it dry and reassembled it with no issues.I appreciate the quality control that goes into each piece. I have had no leaks which is a big plus. The gift box packaging makes it a nice option for presents for different occasions like Christmas or birthdays. Overall this set is worth it and definitely helps you dive into the world of pipe tobacco. Great gift if you looking to buy for someone.

This had me excited (and still does) because having recently got into pipe smoking as an alternative to cigar, I wanted to have a lot for my pipe. This came along and was ordered. The only thing I’m down about was that there was no 2nd pipe screen included. Other than that, I think I can order some from Amazon and I look forward to using this today!

Well built, good size, nice accessories. Don't buy other cheap pipes, sit on this one and decide if you like the hobby. Shoot for a rossi as your real pipe. And if you know you're going to stick with it, move on to a Savinelli. Savinelli is the parent company of rossi, but rossi is closer to $60-80 whereas Savinelli is more around $120-200.
