I got the set and I have to say it is a great starter kit for anyone looking to get into pipe tobacco. The solid wood pipe feels nice and has a good weight to it. It comes with a bunch of accessories which is super convenient. The pipe pouch is a nice touch and keeps everything organized. One of the best features is how easy it is to disassemble for cleaning. Just make sure to let it cool down completely before you take it apart. After cleaning it, I let it dry and reassembled it with no issues. I appreciate the quality control that goes into each piece. I have had no leaks which is a big plus. The gift box packaging makes it a nice option for presents for different occasions like Christmas or birthdays. Overall this set is worth it and definitely helps you dive into the world of pipe tobacco. Great gift if you looking to buy for someone.

I was a little surprised at the Quality and quantity of things in this kit and I am pleased with its purchase! I'm thinking they were trying to make money on the back end with extra supplies and tobacco and stuff! But in any case it was a worthy purchase!

Wasn't expecting much from the included pipe, so I purchased mostly for the pouch an accessories. Was pleasantly surprised with the included pipe. The stem to shank fit was good and not overly tight to twist off. Normally not a fan of overly curved stems. Based upon the online photos, it looks more curved than in person. While the bowl is a bit on the small side like on corn cobs, the pipe felt comfortable in my small to medium sized hands. If you have hands like a catcher's mitt, then pass this pipe along to a new pipe smoker. The pouch appeared well made and no issues with zippers, loops or pockets. Appreciate the small pouch for tobacco, yet I'd probably use a snack sized Ziploc to keep the lining clean. I'm not a clencher, yet the set arrived with two small rubber bits. They fit well over the included stems. Only issue I encountered was that a cap on one of the filters had come off during shipping, so there were bits of carbon all over the inside the plastic bag they arrived in. Tried one of the filters to check the draw, and it wasn't horrible is the best way to describe it. I'm not a filter user, so not the best of judge on this topic. I'd consider these starter or spare filters at best. Nice to have in a pinch if you run out of your regular filters. Overall value was good for this set. I was looking for something compact unlike the larger canvas pouches. The included pouch can hold two pipes comfortably, yet I'd personally only use it for one. I wanted to keep the Zippo lighter in there too, so this kit makes for a great grab-and-go setup.

First time pipe smoker, this is a great value for a starter. The kit comes with everything you need to maintain your pipe. If you are just starting pipe smoking I would highly recommend this kit

When I opened this Packaging, I was amazed. This for me being my first Pipe kit, was impressed by the packing and care taken. This is far above what I expected. I am going to buy it again today, as i want a second for accidental loss or breakage. A great find on Amazon. JC

My son definitely likes this set. Would have like if it had come with some detailed instructions on how to load the bowl - i.e. not too tight or too lose or it will burn too hot or smoke out. I luckily got a page of instructions from the tobacco shop I went to for how to handle a pipe - pack it, clean it, take care of it. Otherwise, this beginner set is very nice with a nice wooden pipe and various mouth pieces and cleaning supplies. I'll upgrade this review as he uses it and gives me feedback. I DO WISH Amazon had some real tobacco for pipes vs. just herbal, non-nicotine options. By "real tobacco" I mean real leaves with nicotine but no added chemicals.
