Great Filtered Water in a Convenient Pitcher
This Brita water filter pitcher is a fantastic way to improve the taste and quality of your tap water. I've been really pleased with its performance. The water tastes noticeably cleaner and fresher after filtering, and it's reassuring to know that the Elite filter is reducing 99% of lead and other contaminants. The claim of the filter lasting 6 months or 120 gallons is a great feature, meaning less frequent replacements. The 6-cup capacity is a good size for my needs – it doesn't take up too much space in the fridge but holds enough water that I'm not constantly refilling it. The white, BPA-free pitcher feels sturdy and the design is practical and easy to use. Filling is simple, and the filtered water dispenses smoothly. If you're looking for an effective and easy-to-use water filter pitcher, this Brita model is a solid choice. It provides great tasting water and the long-lasting filter is a real plus.

Pitcher AND Filter is A+!
I've had this pitcher for 9 months now & it still works wonderfully! The Brita filter lasted 7-8 months for one person using average 1 & 1/2 a day (I know, I should be drinking more). The color indicator never seemed to turn yellow, but the green seemed to flash slower, then one day it was flashing red - and there was a difference in taste. So maybe be ready with another filter instead of waiting to buy one until you see the yellow. I did buy a knockoff brand filter replacement & there's enough of a difference in taste (& most likely longevity) that I am DEFINITELY staying with the BRITA brand filter from now on.FYI - the Brita filter did need to be 'burped' about 3 times toward the beginning (water was not percolating through, so I just ran my finger across the top of the filter to get it going) - & now that I've had the lower quality knockoff that has not needed burping, I consider that a GOOD quality instead of bad. Also, I'm glad I waited this long to give a review because in the beginning, I was wondering how the plastic was going to hold up & it has! The hard plastic 'felt' like it would be more brittle, so I tried to be careful not to bang it pulling it out of the fridge etc. But it HAS happened enough times & I've inspected it, for me to realize that it's durable! I also noticed that it's AIRTIGHT - not sure if that's the word for it - but it never produced any little mold spots INSIDE the pitcher! When I did see one or two, they formed at the very top edge where tap water droplets strayed while filling it. When I noticed that, I learned from my lesson & made sure to have the pitcher open & ready to be filled directly instead of allowing any stray water droplets to happen. As per instructions, I also don't leave the flip top open while it's percolating. I close it then open again to fill to fill line (the little protrusion) a 2nd time. I've also noticed to be careful not to touch the pour spout on anything since tiny mold spots can occur there. Otherwise, I've left it in the fridge without the need to clean it out (no signs or smells of bacteria inside) all those months. There is ONE thing that I would like for them to change in the design, but it's not bad enough to take off a star. The flip top, although it opens easily, also CLOSES too easily. I flip it with my thumb while holding the handle, but then when I barely move my thumb it hits it closed again. I hate when that happens because then the tap water splashes across the top between the pitcher & filter top or the spout to potentially produce tiny mold spots. I have to constantly remind myself to be careful flipping the top & totally take my hands away & have the tap placed squarely over the open area before turning on the water. There's enough room between faucet & pitcher that I can flip it closed again right away for it to percolate. I LOVE that the percolating process doesn't take too long either! Although it does percolate faster with the knockoff filter - another sign the knockoff doesn't work as well.

Excellent for having filtered water that taste great
Just the right size. It is not too heavy when you have it full of water. I have been using Britta pitchers for years and finally decided to buy a smaller one that is easier to pick up and fill. The water tastes great. Of course I purchased the Red one since it is my favorite color!. The replacement filters are not expensive.

Nice product, great price point
Super simple, super nifty - much lighter weight than my "much" older Brita, but works like a speedy dream and the water tastes delicious (and I live on the ocean so we are famous for our icky water). It is cute, and fits well in my fridge without overwhelming the space. I have an internal fridge water purification system, but its $50 cartridges are wearisome, so this is much less expensive adjunct. I haven't had it long enough to test the top filter sensor, but very happy so far.

Very useful
This has been worth the investment for me! It provides cool, filtered water that can give up to 4-5 glasses of water (talking about he big glasses), it’s been convenient for me to use for my water bottles and fits well in the fridge. It’s a product I would e mind getting again.

Excellent choice
I can’t believe how much better my tap water tastes. Also makes much improved coffee.I got frustrated at first with the refilling to flush the filter. It takes a little bit of time. But in every day use it is not an issue.Nice size and weight for an older person to get it out of the fridge.Very pleased.

Great Filtration
The Brita Water Filter Pitcher is a practical and efficient solution for those looking to improve the quality of their tap water. Its sleek, compact design fits easily in most fridges, making it convenient for daily use. The pitcher’s filter does an excellent job of reducing chlorine taste, odors, and other common contaminants, providing a noticeably cleaner and fresher taste. The process is quick, and it’s simple to know when to replace the filter thanks to the built-in indicator. One of the standout features is its easy-to-use flip-top lid, allowing for quick refills without any spills. The pitcher’s ergonomic handle makes pouring water effortless, even for those with limited hand strength. The filter life is generally decent, but it’s worth noting that the replacement filters can be a bit costly over time. While the pitcher is effective in improving water taste, it’s important to remember that it’s not designed to remove all contaminants, so users with specific water quality concerns may need additional filtration methods. Overall, the Brita pitcher is a great entry-level option for improving water taste and convenience without the need for bottled water.

Great product
Small enough to take along on trips. Hotel water is the worst. Makes water great for coffee.
