More than Expected - Great Rugged Fitness Smartwatch
It's my first Garmin and before I tried Mi Band - mostly for sleep tracking. Was cool small band with not many data. Garmin is totally on another level. I was choosing in between Apple Watch SE, Garmin Instinct and G-Shock GBD-200. Final decision was made based on my priorities data tracking / sensors and battery life. And this watch didn't disappoint, I stopped to use phone trackers (Strava), and don't worry about my phone battery while tracking my activities, same about my watch battery or watch at all. It know when I'm biking or when I walking, track my sleep, stress, recovery times, it tells me when to train or when I'm lazy. Counts steps and floors. The screen have retro feeling but with a lot of pixels and UI is very nice and easy to use. Readability is great and feature set is extensive. Only one part is missing is actual maps, but it's trade of for the price and screen / battery life. I'm ok with that. Notifications is awesome too - now I can flip my wrist and see my email or wife message without stopping my bike ride. Bonus - it looks like g-shock, just much smarter.

Nice, but not 100% reliable for all activities
Nice watch, not to intuitive but the fact that it saves your gps tracks for multi-days without charging it is the biggest plus. However, some activities are very clumsy and inaccurate. For example I’ve never managed to record Padel games, it always loops to set the altitude first. Bike activities record, I got very inaccurate gps results due to confusion in power mode I think. Also, there’s no football activity.Lastly, might be only me getting old, in some activities I don’t have seconds on data screen, top right button always confuses me, I can’t tell if it’s in pause/play/stop mode, is play icon indicating that it’s running or do I press to press to run, viceversa when Stop icon is displayed.

Excellent performance and battery life
I used apple watch and hauwei watch before. But Garmin performance is another level. Syncing to iPhone is seamless. No issues. Have been using for some months now. Absolutely love it.
