South Shore, Rustic Oak Artwork Craft Table with Storage

Really nice craft desk! It was a chore to assemble with one person, but doable. It has mega storage and feels solid. I haven't had it for long. Will need to see how the finish holds up. I would like to find some type of clear sheet to protect the surface. And yes that is a Chihuahua under the desk. That's one of her beds. No she is not included...

I absolutely love this desk! It is pretty solid and the storage space is AMAZING! If you have a little experience building any kind of furniture then the instructions are pretty easy to follow. All the pieces are labeled and easy to fit into place. The ONLY reason that I have it four stars instead of five, and I mean ONLY reason, is because I have some trouble butting the cabinet doors on. The screws were stubborn as hell and would only go a certain distance into the board until it just gave up and wouldn't go in any further, causing the cabinet door to be basically useless as it won't shut properly unless the screws are tightened fully. I got some new screws that i think will help, however, and overall I love this desk with a passion. I hold all of my monitors, markers, sketchbooks, scrapbooking paper, laminator, sticker maker, watercolor paints, and so much more in it with room to spare! I am so satisfied with my purchase.Pros:-Tons of space!-Pretty strong particle board! (Though be careful moving it because the tabletop board bends if you don't move it evenly so get help because it weighs a LOT)-LOTS of leg room (as you can see I fit both my printer and my desktop PC beneath it.-tabletop space is AMAZING for crafting and larger projects like sewing and paper crafts.-shelving space is adjustable and great for fitting what you need in it.-pretty easy assemblyCons:-Cabinet doors are a tricky to get on.-difficult as guac to move around so pick a good place to build and keep it.

Very disappointed in the damage to this desk's pieces! This was my 6yo daughter's "big" gift this year, because she outgrew her Step2 art desk. She absolutely loves arts and crafts, painting, etc., so after reading countless reviews and descriptions of similar desks, we opted for this one. I ordered it early just in case there were any damaged pieces...and there were! One piece (F3) was too damaged to even temporarily use to assemble the desk. So we had to wait another week to get the replacement piece in the mail. THEN with only 3 days until Christmas we went to assemble it and there are multiple damages. We were able to make it presentable for Christmas morning, but it's clearly messed up-- one of the metal sliders for the center desk drawer, which apparently had initially been spot-welded, was no longer welded together, so you can imagine how THAT looks. I really could have cared less if pieces that we can't see from the front were damaged, but two other pieces that are integral to its overall appearance (on the front) are damaged as well. Very disappointed in this, because otherwise it's perfect for my daughter's needs. Suffice to say, I'll be calling for replacement pieces which will also mean I have to practically disassemble the darn thing again to replace them! Arrrrrggghhhh!!

When it arrived the box was pretty beat up. I almost refused it but my wife really wanted to keep it. We opened it up and found the main desk top, 2 side panels and one cupboard door were heavily damaged. I called South Shore customer support and they were AWESOME !! A very nice lady with a heavy french accent helped me right away and got all the pieces ordered. It took 2 weeks and then a large FedEx crate showed up with the new panels. This time the parts were packaged to survive a tuble off the Empire State building lol !! I only wish the original box was packaged this way. Fine furniture..... this is not. The parts fit together ok but the gaps are uneven in spots and there is ZERO adjustment. It is held together with pins and twist cams into pre-drilled holes, so if something doesn't line up you are S.O.L. My wife likes it though and uses it all the time. Just don't expect too much in the fit and finish department and you will be happy with this desk. Desk is a solid 6.0 but the customer service is a firm 10.0 !!

The desk was easy to install if you've ever built furniture you're going to be able to do it easily. Mine arrived without any damage like other reviewers seemed to get and I wasn't missing any pieces.I'm not a huge fan of the locking cam assembly as I've had issues in the past with this but you could alter it if you want. I chose not to as I'll be moving in a year so easy disassembly is a must, which will easily be achievable as is. I love the look of this desk and my only concern is the drawer which feels really wiggly when opening or closing so I'm probably going to add a few more screws and then it'll be perfect.

The best thing about this table is its versatility. I'm using it as a desk for a home office, and was able to customize it by installing only selected shelves (and no racks). The compartments are spacious, the finish attractive and it seems very sturdy. Despite the daunting number of pieces in the box, this was actually quite easy to assemble. I did it all by myself in a couple of hours, and I am not a Hercules or a genius at construction. Aside from two minor confusions in the illustrations, the instructions are extremely clear and in grammatical English! I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Piece of junk for the price. Cheap particle board will probably be a problem if we try to move it. Parts missing and instructions incorrect. Left unassembled for over a week waiting for missing parts. Was told mcgre in Canada but parts came from Mexico. I was in the furniture industry for 25 years and this crappy product is embarrassing. When I called for parts I was told the staff was in a meeting then when I called back I was told they were at lunch. When I emailed nothing happened. Very poor quality control and customer service.

I love the desk but one thing that’s really annoying me is one of the doors does not shut properly. There is something wrong with the magnet. I’m going to but some magnets and fix it. Others it’s loves. Beware it’s extremely heavy.

Good looking desk, despite being made of particular board, however it really loses points when it comes to assembly. The desk takes 3-5 hours to assemble and requites two people for a few parts of the assembly. In almost every area, it seems as though they cut corners at the expense of the customer who is assembling it. Holes are not drilled (but rather just marked), making it quite difficult unless you intend to get out a power drill to assist.In total it comes with approximately 300 pieces of hardware, along with 25+ separate particle board pieces. It worked out in the end, but beware of the difficult assembly. I expected this to require assembly... just not hours worth of assembly.

This craft table meets all my expectations and more. There are so many shelves and cubbyholes to store supplies. Instructions were easy to follow, step by step graphics, nothing left out. Pieces arrived intact. Nothing missing or broken. The box was very heavy but it was delivered to my door by UPS and placed safely on my deck. This was unexpected as we live 25 miles from nearest town. Can not say enough about how much I love my new Canadian made craft table.

Desk arrived with the desk surface really scratched up - it was the last thing I installed and did not notice at first as I did not inspect all the pieces individually before I started. This was a gift for my wife, so I was embarrassed for what I paid and quite upset to present her a scratched up desk top right out of the box. It is a very nice looking unit otherwise.

Easy to understand instructions - I would recommend getting all of the pieces in each step organized before starting. It made it much less time consuming. One of the pieces arrived cracked, I called the company and they are sending me a replacement piece, no questions asked. Great service! Love that you can alter the two sides to best suit your needs.

I bought this desk and I love it!! It came three days earlier than expected so that was great! It took me about 1.5 hrs to put it together and I did it myself. The instructions were VERY easy and straightforward. It's well made and has tons of storage. I'd buy this again and recommend it to everyone! Super happy customer!

Desk is nice... a piece was cracked and broken in the box but we glued it and put it together anyway due to the tears from our daughter ..it’s on the inside and you can’t tell at all once put together. Desk seems sturdy and of good quality.

The table looks great and is very functional with all the storage compartments. Unfortunately, when we opened both orders of this desk and put it together, we discovered that the main desk board (top surface) for both desks had issues. The first desk had clear scratches and holes on the top (missing paint?) and the second desk had a huge dent in the front side. Thankfully after contacting them, they agreed to send replacement parts. Great customer service!

Very good detailed instructions, my wife and I took our time and double checked each step and it took us 2.5 hours including seperating all the pieces for each step. Some pieces are particle board but some are also made of MDF where it is needed. Door and drawer gaps are also nice and even
