As long as you can get the rules in another language, it should play just fine. **Q: Product description is for second edition, but I got first edition shipped. Has this happened to others?** A: I got the second edition. **Q: Does this reprint have any expansions?** A: If your question asks if buying 7 wonders 2nd edition contains any expansion content, no. If your question asks does 2nd edition expansion content exist, yes. 2nd edition has Cities, Leaders, and Armada available specifically for it. 2nd edition’s biggest tell is that all the cards are stacked vertically instead of diagonally. Also, the backs of 1st edition cards are brown, blue, and purple. 2nd edition are all black with bronze, silver, and gold linings. Hope that helps differentiation. **Q: What are the differences in the 2 editions? I have the original and it is one of our favorite games.** A: If you have the original and are pleased with it, I see no reason to buy second edition, as there isn’t anything beyond aesthetic changes and slight balancing tweaks between the 2 versions. There is one card that is rather unique in second when compared to all of the first edition content, but it doesn’t revolutionize the gameplay.
