Ta-Ra-Ra Boom-De-Ay

I knew the book anyway, and wanted my own copy for ages. The piano parts are not too hard and can be vamped with guitar chords if needed. Popular traditional songs - shame it seems to be out of print!

I was delighted to find this book for my daughter. Our own kids grew up with it and now the grandchildren too!

Good quality

Grandchildren are wonderful playthings. They love new toys and games and most of all respond well to music. Finding the right gap for youngsters beginning to listen to all kinds of music and to introduce them to some old favourites is definitely the work of Grandparents in today's modern world of noise. Children like Tunes, words and melodies - the simpler and more repetitive the better. Having brought my own kids up on both Apuskidusski, the forerunner to "Ta-ra-ra-boom-de-ay", (and this one), I remembered fondly how these songs appealed to their young spirits so having been presented with the job of entertaining a three year old, taking him away from television, computers and the modern world, we thought we would introduce him into a new world of song. This has proven an unmitigated success much to the amazement of his parents who were trying to entertain him with remote controlled objets d'art. They too have joined us in singing songs from their own childhood, perhaps forgotten over the years but now we have something we can all enjoy together. Our next treat will probably an instrument of some kind that can make as much noise as possible - revenge is sweet!!! Seriously, this is a great, easy to play and sing book for all ages away from the chart toppers and music videos of writhing individuals this is FUN. A little of what we wll need.
