Great light to mid-weight jacket. Sturdy. No liner.
Great light to mid-weight jacket. No liner in it, but it has the thick Carhartt material so I'd estimate that this will be good down to the mid 40's or so. Throw a sweatshirt on and you'll probably be good for another 10 degrees cooler. Not waterproof so I spray it as soon as I got it. Good fit and great color. I like that there isn't a hood on it - to me they always make a jacket too bulky. As I mentioned, the fit is good around the body and the sleeves are maybe an inch too short. The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is that the sleeves where they connect to the jacket are absolutely huge. I could fit my thighs in them! I guess it is designed this way to give flexibility, but they are just too big. Minor complaint, maybe it's just me.One other thing I noticed as I finally got to wear it with the cooler weather, the pockets are very small. I can barely get my entire hand in them. Again, another minor complaint.

get the "tall" version for long-enough sleeves
generous cut that allows for freedom of movement and lots of layers underneath. Good yard and chore coat.I'm 6'2" 190lb. I wear a 16x35 fitted shirt and size 35x34 trousers. I ordered a Large Tall in this jacket and I think it's the right size for me. I often have a problem with jacket sleeves being long enough but the Large Tall version is adequate.the inside right pocket is large enough to velcro shut with an iPhone 6s inside. The inside left pocket is zippered and, I think, not as convenient for a phone. The outside breast pockets are too short to close with a phone inside. The lower outer handwarmer pockets are, I think, too small, and that is this jacket's chief defect.

Perfect lightweight chore jacket
I needed to replace a chore jacket whose zipper broke, and the cost to repair the zipper would exceed the cost of a new jacket. (The jacket that had to replaced was from a company whose name is a city in northern Minnesota.) I found the Carhartt Flint jacket at a local store, but they didn't have my size. Amazon did, and for less. The Carhartt Flint fits me well, has good pockets, and feels like it'll be durable. I haven't used it for anything particularly heavy duty yet, though I have hauled firewood in it.I like it so much that I bought a second one in a different color, so that I have one that I can beat up and one that will look decent for wearing around town.

2X Tall fits well
The coat arrived in a plastic packaging wrapped up. The buttons on the coat were not broken. The zipper doesn't jam up. The hand pockets aren't that big. If you have big hands, these pockets will disappoint. However, it's doable. They do keep your hands warm. There's also two inside pockets, one with a zipper pocket and the other a Velcro pocket. They can both fit an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy. I'm not sure if it'll hold up against rain since water does seep through. I think it's a good windbreaker jacket. On a windy day, the coat holds up well. It's definitely a good fall and spring jacket. Might not be a good summer coat since it does keep you warm.

Great coat for the price
Great jacket in the Breen. I'm stocky at 5' 8" 185 and the medium fits well with only slightly long sleeves. If I could give this jacket at 4.5 I would. The only thing that stops me from giving this jacket 5 stars is that the pockets in front are too small. They could easily be moved back a couple of inches to make the pockets more functional, but in all other respects I really like this jacket.

Good Enough
I typically wear a large jacket because of my arm length, but the large in this was gigantic, so a traded back for a medium. Even in the medium it feels a little more roomy than I am used to, but that leaves plenty of room for a sweatshirt or a pullover. I like it, it's comfy, and wasn't super expensive, it doesn't quite bring the pocket game I was hoping for, but I have yet to find a jacked that does.

Way 2 Big
Ok, seemed like a great deal and a good jacket BUT it was way too big . At six foot and 230 pounds an XL tall is usually the right size, this jacket could have fit by 6 8 nephew
