I was wonderfully pleased when I got this “up and running”, i,e., in place, turned on, and adjusted to a good light level. Don’t be thrown off by that; the lamp is light weight, beautiful, gives off a lovely, warm white light. It has a great stepless dimmer with easy function. I guess I’m using overly florid prose about a table lamp, but I’ve had to remodel my master bedroom and so I’ve become well acquainted with what is available, what is fashionable, and what stuff COSTS. I think this table lamp is a steal for the price. There are a lot of “modern art statuette” types out there now, both floor lamps and smaller. Look carefully at the measurements: I’ve seen remarks about it being too big or too small. Well it’s the size published. And I have to ‘fess up. I ordered what was an “identical” lamp and sent it back. Though it was the same exact shape, it had none of the following qualities, especially regarding light color(s). The stepless dimming is just great. I find any other type of dimmer to be a real pain. And this lamp puts out a lovely shade of white. Others (of identical shape so pay attention) offer the “disco” medley of blue, pink, purple, etc. that seems to be all over the market just now. NOT my taste. Main reason the first one went back. The light color reminds me of the old incandescent bulbs, and remains the same throughout the range of brightness. Big five star values for me. The dimmer is a very simple little dial that can sit on the table next to/behind the lamp. Turn the knob to “on” then keep turning for brighter and brighter output. Easy to read (for me) at the top end. The base is flat and mirrored, both of which look better than the lamps with wooden bases. Lightweight, but not easily knocked over. It seems to touch all the bases for design. Even the packaging was well done, lesser likelihood you end up a broken surprise. I’m not even sure the lamp is glass; it’s certainly lightweight for that. But it looks very much like high quality blown glass (quality - yes, blown glass - no). Overall this touches all the bases for me. Haven’t had it long enough to speak to reliability, but everything else points to it being well done. And remember, this is the second one I’ve tried. This won’t be your taste if you like the multicolor lights. But I would definitely say GET THIS ONE.

Love the modern style and the LED Dimmable white lights are perfect for our bedroom. Great choice and it doesn’t take much space on the night table. My husband and I are in love with it.

Love the style & the dimmer

These lamps are great. I have them on the lowest setting but they can get really bright. The only negative is there’s just not and on/off switch. You have to find cord and turn the switch. The only reason for 4 star.

This light was a lot smaller than I anticipated and does not get as bright as what I’d like.
