Solved my problem.
This cable worked great with my CCTV system. I needed a longer set of cables than what was supplied with my CCTV system. These 150ft cables were able to reach the back of my home with room to spare. The cables hooked right up to my system and are working great. I did have one problem and that was when all my cameras were hooked up and the night vision was on only one camera worked. I had them hooked up to the power splitter (4 way)that came with my CCTV system. They were using too much power and would shut down. I do not know if it was my splitter/system or the longer cables just used more power. I was able to get a second power supply and hook it to one of the cameras which solved the problem.

Tough, flexible, odd choice for adapters
These video cables work fine for standard DC-powered, BNC video-feed cameras. The one thing that robs them of their 5th star is the odd connectors shipped with them. Most security cameras have BNC connectors, as do the display units. The cables have female BNCs on each end, but male/female power jacks. They ship with a pair of BNC-to-RCA adapters...useless for joining two cables together, and requires the installer (usually one of us do-it-yourselfers) to go to Radio Shack or Lowes to pick up BNC-to-BNC connectors (~$4). Not a huge chore, but now I've got a whole stack of these useless BNC-to-RCA adapters. If the power side was clearly built for extending cable reach, why not a male/female signal side...or include a singe BNC-BNC adapter?

really long, durable
this was crazy long but I am now able to run a cable to my camera out by the hot tub and in the house, to the second floor where my system is. its also a bit thinner and easy to sort of make use of "available space" to hide it as i run it temporarily through the house. I would be careful not to bend this too much or pinch it in any doors. but I did run this outside through a door by simply trimming a tiny bit of weather proofing off the top of the door where there is a bit of a gap.update, its still working jsut find and I moved the cable and installed it properly in the walls now.I also picked up another, as I needed two outdoor cameras that would not reach on the sytems 60ft long cables. they are holding up to outdoor weather and a run through the attic. the images come out great on the other end. they do want to tangle on you and I have extra length of this but I put a twist tie on it and put it in a baggie to keep it neat, you never know when I might want to move a camera farther out and need the length. it fits my swann system perfectly.3 yrs of hot and cold and still holding up outside!

It must work great! I haven't tried it yet, as I over stocked on this one.. but I will keep it around...
Yes! This Item is very sweet to look at. Being as I have not put it to use yet. My camera's came with cords, and I really don't want to put a camera upstairs at the moment.. oops! (security breach, security breach, step away from the door, and put your hands behind your head!) jk of course… but no, I just haven't had the need for it. But like I said, It is beautiful in the room to look at. It has very sexy prongs.. ok-let's not go there… but you get the jest of things… I simply over-bought for the time being.. Maybe I will a reverse Bunk-Cake! peace & love

Excellent quality at a really good price. HOOKED TO A LOREX CAMERA
Cable arrived wrapped in plastic, with a plastic hook to easily extend as you desire. Is really long and well constructed. Came with 2 adapters. BNC to RCA.Works really good! I plug one side to a Q/see DVR, the other to a lorex camera. image quality s the same as the stock Q-see cables. Can't beat it for the price.Recommended!

Unbelievable Mess
I ordered 4 of these cables - they seem to be good quality, but the way that they're packaged is bad. The cable is rolled up as if on a spool, BUT there is NO SPOOL. Instead the cables are tied off by twist ties. This means that when you attempt to unroll & use the cable, it quickly becomes tangled up into a big "furball". I did not allow time to wrestle with the cable mess, so it really put me behind schedule about a half day. After some serious frustration I finally sat down and untangled the mess and re-rolled the wire up on some foam rubber. Then it's ok. Frankly I would have paid double not to have had to deal with this mess. I did not see any other reviews about this particular aspect of these cables and maybe there's some 'trick' to dealing with them, but I didn't see any option other than untangling them and rolling them back up on a makeshift spool so that as I'm fishing the cable through the attic it would unroll without tangling.

Tips for installing your cable!
The factory folded the cable in half and then rolled/coiled it. The easiest way to unroll is to unroll both ends at the same time until you run out of cable. Then separate the ends right down the middle and unravel the two strands. Once this is complete check to make sure you run the Camera end (power) to the camera and the other end goes to the power supply. I have done this with four rolls and it works great. My first roll was a nightmare (rats nest) because I unrolled just one end not realizing is was folded in half. Hope this helps!!!
