These are excellent for controlling vibration in audio systems. They work well under components and under speakers. Worth trying given their low cost.

Using these to provide ventilation separation between entertainment center components. Worked perfectly for this application.

I bought these as an audiophile tweak for my desk-top speakers, JBL's excellent ES-20 bookshelf monitors. While the speakers have always sounded good, I knew they could sound better if I could elevate them and get them off my desk, which caused "standing" vibrations. It would also help if they didn't have to sit so close to a wall, but alas, this was a necessary evil due to my desktop layout.I flipped the speakers over and used a plastic putty knife to pry off the rubber feet. Once I got those off, I used 2-way sticky tape to secure the isolation pads to each speaker's bottom. I only needed the tape to keep them in place as I flipped them over...I planned on the speakers weight to provide most of the "holding power" once they were in place. I re-attached the speaker wires, fired up my amp & PC, launched Tidal & started to listen...Wow...what a difference!!! The first thing I noticed was that my whole set-up was louder & had more presence at a given volume level. The increased height clearly added to more openness, but the reduction of vibration also increased the clarity of the sound. Vibration has long been a killer of musical set-ups & these vibration isolators were clearly doing their job! In fact, my whole desktop surface is pretty much vibration free, the only "feeling" I get coming from the kick of bass & drums.If you have a set-up similar to mine, or have bookshelf speakers that you can't get onto dedicated speaker stands, these pads are a great way to increase fidelity, reduce vibration & add some listening "height". For the price a CD, these pads will better your sound in a more meaningful way than a new set of cables or wires. Can't recommend them enough...

I suspect that these will be good for my purposes but I haven’t used them yet for fear of my house smelling like seven Harbor Freight stores. When I opened them, ripping the cancer warning sticker, I was immediately hit with the smell as another reviewer said and, after a week in the sun, they still smell (not as bad, but it’s still there). They seem well made but it’s just the smell.Update: they’re still outside 6/4/2018 and are still smelling. Not as strong but not what I want in my house. Downgrading to two stars. I might throw them away.

I bought these on May 7 and opened them immediately from the package. It is now July 27th and I have yet to bring these things into my house to use for a set of speakers that I bought them for. They are still sitting in my garage because the smell coming from them is soo strong, I just can't put them in the house. Even still, when I walk up to the bench they're sitting on in my garage, I get a giant whiff of plastic/chemical smell so strong it gags me. If they stop smelling, I'll try them out and update my review.

These are fine but still have noise and vibration although less to a degree. I have a remote ventilation fan in the attic that is 200 CFM and it is mounted to the trusses. You can definitely hear it when it's on although it is not deafening. It is better with these but I was hoping for more.

These work. They were placed under ZVOX speaker system. Before installation deep bass notes made everything on the cabinet vibrate. After installation everything is great..

Nice product, that can be stacked too.
